Indigo's heart raced as she approached the orphanage, the roar of the stolen motorcycle's engine echoing through the busy streets of Sokovia. The urgency of the situation fueled her determination, driving her to push the bike to its limits as she navigated through the debris-strewn roads.
Finally reaching her destination, she skidded to a halt, abandoning the motorcycle on the side of the street. With a quick glance around to ensure she hadn't drawn any unwanted attention, she turned her focus to the imposing three-story building before her. Its weathered façade loomed overhead.
As Indigo approached the entrance, her senses heightened, every nerve on edge as she prepared to spring into action. With a swift motion, she pushed open the doors, the creak of aged hinges echoing through the empty foyer.
Inside, the air was heavy with anticipation, the subdued murmurs of the workers mingling with the low hum of a flickering television. Indigo's eyes scanned the room, taking in the sparse furnishings and worn décor. It was clear that this place had seen better days, but there was no time to dwell on its dilapidated state.
Making her way further into the building, Indigo's gaze swept over the faces of the workers, searching for any sign of recognition or direction. Their eyes met hers with a mix of surprise and apprehension, their expressions mirroring her own sense of urgency.
Without hesitation, Indigo approached the group, her voice ringing out with authority. "Potřebuji, abyste evakuovali město. Teď!" ("I need you to evacuate the city. Now!")
With a sense of relief, Indigo watched as the workers swiftly sprang into action, their movements fueled by the urgency of the situation. Without a moment's hesitation, they turned and began ascending the creaking staircase toward the upper floors where the children were housed.
As they passed her, Indigo reached out, her grip firm on one of the worker's arms. "Máte autobus pro děti?" she inquired, her tone urgent yet composed. She could see the concern etched on the woman's face, reflecting the gravity of the situation. (Do you have a bus for the children?")
"Yes, máme jednoho v uličce za budovou," came the woman's response, her voice tinged with apprehension. Indigo nodded in acknowledgment, her gaze steady as she prepared to take charge of the evacuation efforts. ("Yes, we have one in the alley, behind the building.")
"Dostaněte děti k autobusu, všechno bude v pořádku," Indigo reassured them calmly, her voice a beacon of reassurance amid the chaos. As the workers hurried off to carry out her instructions, Indigo couldn't help but feel a sense of urgency gnawing at her insides. ("Get the children to the bus, everything will be ok.")
"Počkej, kde mohu pomoci?" she called after the woman, her voice echoing with genuine concern. ("Wait, where can I help?")
The woman paused, her expression tinged with sorrow as she turned back to face Indigo. "Máme jedno malé dítě na horním patře," she replied, her voice laden with emotion. ("We have one small infant on the top floor.")
