As Indigo gathered the rest of her belongings, a sense of urgency pulsed through her veins. The team wouldn't return until tomorrow, giving her a window of opportunity to meet Bucky without the risk of being caught. Her heart raced with anticipation and a hint of trepidation as she double-checked the contents of her bag.

Apart from the essentials, her belongings were sparse, deliberately so. She couldn't afford any unnecessary weight or bulk, not when every moment counted. The weight of the knife strapped to her thigh beneath the fabric of her skirt offered a reassuring sense of security, a silent reminder of the dangers lurking in the shadows.

Indigo walked into the elevator trying pulling out her phone to check the time, 11:45, she's right on time.

As she slipped out of the tower, the cool morning air wrapped around her like a cloak. The city was alive with the hum of activity, yet she felt strangely disconnected from it all, as if she were moving through a world apart from the one she knew.

With each step, the anticipation grew, building like a crescendo in her chest. Indigo had waited months for this moment, months of uncertainty and longing, and now that it was finally within reach, she couldn't help but feel a surge of emotions threatening to overwhelm her.

The cafe by Central Park loomed in the distance, its warmness beckoning her like a beacon. Indigo quickened her pace, the rhythmic sound of her footsteps echoing in the bustling streets as she drew closer to her destination.

As she reached the cafe, her heart fluttered with a mix of excitement and apprehension. Her fingers hovered over her phone, instinctively reaching for any updates from the team, eager for a distraction from the nerves knotting in her stomach.

Just as she began to read a text from Nat, the familiar buzz of her phone in her hand, Indigo collided with a large figure, sending her stumbling backward. Panic surged through her as she fought to regain her balance, but before Indigo could fall, a strong arm wrapped around her waist, steadying her.

Startled, Indigo looked up to meet the gaze of the person who had caught her, her heart pounding in her chest. Standing before her was a towering figure, their presence commanding attention as they peered down at her with concern etched in their features.

"Bucky?" Indigo murmured, the name slipping from her lips almost instinctively as she felt the comforting weight of his arm around her waist.

He wore a ballcap pulled low over his eyes, and sunglasses shielded his gaze from view, he had a leather jacket on and gloves covering his hands, but even with his attempts to conceal his identity, there was no mistaking the familiar contours of his face and the imposing stature that marked him as unmistakably Bucky.

A wry smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he met my gaze, his eyes twinkling with a mixture of amusement and fondness. "Caught me, huh?"

Indigo couldn't help but chuckle at his half-hearted attempt at disguise, the sight of him eliciting a rush of warmth that washed away any lingering nerves. "Nice try, but you're not exactly inconspicuous," she teased, gesturing to his towering frame.
