Lucy's POV:I had finished training earlier than usual today, so I just sat in the car and waited for Emily. I had invited Keira around for dinner later today as we had a day off tomorrow and I was planning on having a few glasses of wine with her tonight. I was looking through some recipes online when the passenger door opened and Emily got in.
"How was training hun?" I asked, but when I looked towards her I could tell something was wrong and my suspicion was proven when tears started streaming down her face.
I dropped my phone into my lap and turned to face her in my seat
"Hey, hey what's wrong, what happened"
I asked her, getting increasingly more worried"I'm not going back in there, everyone hates me and I'm not good enough anymore" she let out through her tears As they continued to fall.
My eyebrows furrowed when I heard this, not knowing what could've brought on these thoughts she was having.
"Emily please tell me what happened, I don't know who told you that your not good enough but I've seen you play and your incredible so they don't know what there talking about, okay" I said bringing my hand up to her face, turning it towards me so she knew I was serious about what I was saying. I didn't know what to do in this situation but i was hoping she calmed down and I could understand what had gone on between the hours when she had walked through those doors and now.
"What happened?" I desperately asked again, my voice soft, as I wiped some start tears off her cheeks.
