Emily's POV:
I had been walking around for a few hours now. I was starting to get a bit scared. It was really dark and It felt like I was being followed and I didn't know what to do. I walked over to a bench and sat down, pulling out my phone. I looked through my contacts. trying to find someone who I thought would help. Lucy was the only person I could think of, but she had already said she doesn't want me staying with her anymore. Im Snapped out of my thoughts by Slow footsteps getting closer to me but it's too dark to make out anything other then a tall, dark figure. I get up and start walking quickly, looking back periodically to see the figure still following me. I take a sharp corner and start running hoping to loose the man. I hid behind a tree hoping it went unnoticed. I see the figure running past me and when he's far enough away I let out the breath I was holding in.
Not feeling safe, and not knowing where I was I pull out my phone and ring lucy, it's around 11pm so hopefully shes still awake.
"Lucy" I say quetly, cautious that the man will come back
"Emily are you okay?" she says, sounding Paniked.
"I dont know, Im scared, there was a man following me" I let out quickly
"Oh my god Em, where are you and why are you out So late its dangerous" she says in a worried voice
"I'll be okay, I'll find my way home" I say not wanting to tell her what happened or to intrude again.
"dont be silly Em, Something must've happened at home it youre out this late" She says, sotly. I stay quite knowing She was right and I can't go home."
"Just tell me where you are and I'll Come and get you, Okay? It's not safe Emily" she says. I don't reply i just Send her my location
"I'll be there. in 5 minutes okay?" She says and I thank her, and wait, still keeping an eye out for anyone following me. I feel guilty for bothering Lucy with my problems again she probably hates me.
