Lucifer's pov
I sat on the sofa, working on a new rubber duckie when there was a knock on the door. Excited I flew up to the door and swung it open, ready to welcome a new person when I stopped.
It was Adam!
"So you said there's free rent right?" He nervously gripped the straps of his bag.
"We never said that" Lilith called out from the couch.
"But we totally do!" I took his hand and led him inside "I really like that jacket of yours" I gestured to his golden jacket "It really-"
"Makes you look less like a slut" Lilith called out, making him growl.
"I was going to say it brings out your eyes" I said quickly. Please don't start a fight with him lil! "Come on, I want to show you around" I took his hand, bouncing excitedly as I led him through the hotel.
Adams pov
I yawned after finally finishing lucs tour. He's so over the top! I headed into the bathroom, hoping to freshen myself up when I stepped back.
The whole bathroom was filled with rubber ducks! On the bath, on the sink, even on the toilet! To fuckers were everywhere!
"What the fuck!" I yelled.
"Is everything alright addie?" Lucifer appeared behind me, looking concerned.
"The bathroom, it's filled with ducks!" I said, stunned.
"Oh yeah, I thought it would spoof up the place. Do you like it?" He looked at me expectingly.
"Like it!? I-" I stopped. He looked so happy. I couldn't bring myself to take away his smile "I love it"
"Yay!" He hugged my waist "I'm glad you like it here Addie. After all this is your home now too" with that he skipped off.
"Do my eyes disseve me? Did the great Adam put someone else's feelings above his own" Lilith appeared with a coy smile.
I turned my back to her "luc has done a lot for me. The least I can do is lie a little"
"Well that's one thing we have in common" she smiled as she walked away, leaving me feeling confused.
