Eves pov
"No fucking way!" A giggle left me "They're going to fight? Oh, my god. Hahahaha! Oh, looks like your little hotel didn't work out so well" watched a screen with Adam training with another girl "Oh, Adam sweetheart. I cannot wait to watch you get FUCKED! Ahahahaha!"
Adams pov
The cannibals all gathered outside the hotel, practising with their weapons. Lucifer watched them from a distance with a proud smile.
He sighed "Oh, I wish Charlie were here to see this" we had to send her home to keep her safe.
"The cannibals seem ready to fight. Are we?" Lilith asked.
"Definitely!" I said brightly.
"I've got all cannon's checked and ready for battle" vox said determinedly
"Thank you, vox" Lucifer nodded.
"What can I do to help?" Nifty looked up hopefully.
"I'm glad, you asked, my dear" he looked through his checklist "The base needs fortifications. Reinforce the southern wall! Create a moat around the perimeter to stop a ground assault"
Nifty blinks up at vox, having no idea what he just said.
"How about this. If you see an angel, stab it!" Lucifer hands Nifty a small blade.
Her eye landed on me "Stab! Stab! Stab!" She chased after me, knife in hand.
"Fuck fuck fuck!" I climbed up the pole I was leaning on for safety.
"Not him!" Lucifer grabbed her "we stabbed at other angel's ok?"
"Ok" she said brightly.
As Nifty runs off to find other things to stab, I did a flip and lands on the ground, before walking over to stand with lute.
"Listen up, sinners!" Lilith paced like a sergeant "We've got 24 hours before the Extermination begins. Let's get to work"
Eve's pov
As the cannibals and the hotel's residents began training to fight, I continued to watch them all train from my surveillance room.
"Oh, they suck" I laughed, pure joy spread across my face "Oh, they suck so bad! Oh, god. They're gonna fucking die! They're- they're gonna die!"
Adams pov
"Hello?" Lucifer tapped the microphone "I want to thank everyone for coming. Even people who aren't staying here yet... angel"
"Look, I can't resist a fight, okay? Especially when I get to tag team with this fuckhead" Angel wrapped his arm around me, causing me to crack a smile.
I turned to them with a serious expression "Tomorrow, the Exorcist Angels will face a Hell ready to defend itself and win!"
"Yeah we will! Tell 'em, baby!" Lilith cheered, making Lucifer blush.
"Yes! And we are going to win! But in case we don't, I want you all to know... that getting to know you has been the biggest honor of my life" he started to tear up "Whatever redemption really means, I know you all tried. I have seen the good in all of you. And it's just...I love you all, so much, and-and live tonight however you want because-"
"We're all gonna die!" She laughed maniacally.
Lilith started clapping "Alright! Let's give it up for not dying! Love not dying" she pauses "Drinks?"
We all nodded in agreement as we headed into the hotel.
"Hey" lute turned to me with a patient smile "how are you holding up"
"Yeah I'm good" I nodded "funny thing is I'm not afraid to face possible death. I'm actually excited to finally fight for something"
"I know the feeling. I'm happy to at least have you fighting in my corner" she smiled at me.
"hey Lucifer said we could do whatever we want tonight. So pour me a strong one and let's go big tonight!" She nodded before walking away. I watched her with a lovesick smile. It's terrifying but I think I'm in love.
