Lilith's pov
"Ok everyone places. We have to be ready for when Lucifer walks in"
Today is Lucifer's birthday and after all he's done for us we wanted to throw him an extra special birthday.
"This is a bad idea" Michael said as I forced him to hide "Lucifer hates surprises. He's been that way since we were kids"
"Well Michael you haven't been in his life for a while. Lucifer has changed a lot" I argued.
"Whatever you say sis" he sighed as we got into position. I rolled my eyes fondly as I crouched down. As Lucifer walked in we jumped out and yelled "surprise!"
"Yah!" He yelled before passing out.
"Lucifer!" I yelled as we rushed up to him, trying to waken him.
"Told ya!" He smirked "Luci's always been like a little possum, passing out at any little surprises" I growled, upset at the asshole being right.
*Time skip*
"Sorry about frightening you love" I ran my hand through his hair.
"It's alright lily. I'm so happy you threw a party for me" he smiled sweetly.
"Of course we did dad. You deserve it after all you've done for us" we all nodded at Charlie's statement.
"You guys" he teared up.
"Alright bitches here's the cake" Adam came out with a pink and white cake.
"Wow so pretty" Lucifer's eyes lit up.
"Make a wish darling" I wrapped my arms around him.
He nodded as he shut his eyes for a moment, thinking of his wish. As soon as he blew out that candle the door was kicked down.
"You bastards" eve shot at Seth, knocking him to the ground.
"Seth" Cain rushed to his brother's side "hey talk to me bro. Are you ok?"
"I'm fine. It just hit my shoulder" he gave him a pained smile.
Eve approached them, gun in hand "If you boys aren't going to be useful to me alive then you might as well be dead!"
"That's enough" Lucifer marched over to her but was stopped by Adam.
"It's okay. She's after me, right eve?" He glared at me.
"Well look at that. He's not as stupid as he looks" she pointed her gun at Adam "you've caused me trouble for long enough dear. We're going home now"
"Adam don't" he looked at him pleadingly.
"I'll be fine. Look after my sons" he said as he left with her.
"Damnit!" Cain punched the ground. Everyone else looked equally as frustrated.
"I can't remember the last time I felt this helpless" I hugged myself. How do you save someone who's under a soul contract?
"Not to worry" Lucifer turned to us firmly "cause we're going to save him"
"How? Have you discovered how to break a contract?" I questioned him.
"Not really but we will figure it out as we go along" he said confidently "come on gang. We've got a friend to save"
