Cain's pov

I blinked a couple of times to find myself in a world of white. Confused I sat up to find myself with a pair of golden wings like able.

"What the fuck" I muttered to myself.

"Oh dear lord" I looked up to see st Peter's horrified face "um Raphael we have a problem"

I rolled my eyes. Just great!

*Time skip*

"This is a nightmare" Raphael ran a hand through his dark hair "we have to keep this under wraps. No one can know about this"

"No!" Azreal spoke up "don't you see raphy. This is proof that redemption is possible. It wasn't just a fluke last time. We have to stop the extermination"

I watched as the two arch angels fought over my fate. Great. I'm starting to wish I stayed dead.

"I'm real sorry about this" Gabriel gave me an apologetic smile "I'm sure they'll sort it out soon"

"No worries. It's just my life on the line" I gave him a wry smile.

"We can't permit this boy to enter heaven's gates" Raphael said firmly "if you haven't realised he was the first human to commit sin"

"That's exactly why he should be permitted" azreal argued "if Cain can be redeemed then theirs gotta be a chance for all of them. We gotta give Lucifer's hotel a chance-"

"Out of the question!" He snapped. He turned away guiltily when he saw his brother's frightened face "I'm sorry azreal but it's too dangerous"

"Then you leave me no choice" he grabbed my hand and dragged me away as his brothers called out to him.

"Uh why are you helping me again?" I asked as we got to safety.

"Because I believe in my brother's dream" he said firmly "now come on. There's someone I want you to meet"

He led me down to an underground bunker where a fermillier face was waiting.

"Vox?"

He turned around in shock "boss!" He ran up to me excitedly "oh I guess I don't work for you anymore" he scratched his head in embarrassment.

"You'll alive. That's a relief. I was starting to think I'd be the only sinner up here"

"I know right! It's terrible being the odd man out! Hey you didn't here how alastor was doing did you?" He blushed slightly.

"Who?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Ah so you two know each other" azreal cut in "that's wonderful. We'll work so much better as a team now. Okay we need some ideas. How are we going to get the truth out to heaven's citizens?"

"I have an idea" I placed a hand on vox's shoulder "how would you like to be our news anchor?"

His face lit up in excitement. I'll take that as a yes!

*Time skip*

"Alright you son of a bitch. Show me the money" I muttered as I hacked into the news station "and there!"

"You're amazing Cain" azreals eyes lit up.

I turned to vox "Alright kid you're on. Don't let us down"

"Yes sir!" He nodded as the camera turned to him "top of the hour and we're discussing the lies and cover-ups of heaven. Like for example did you know that sinners have been proven to get redeemed not once but twice. In fact you're looking at one! But heaven would have you believe that the extermination was justified. Do with that information as you will. Vox signing off" with that the camera's shut off as we heard the murmurs of heaven's citizens above us.

"Vox that was amazing!" Azreal hugged him.

"You're a natural kid. Born to be on TV" I slapped him on the back.

"Thanks. This is all I've ever wanted" he smiled blissfully.

"Well we've done it. For better or for worse" I turned away "now it's up to dad and the others. Let's hope they can pull through"

Adams pov

"Guys I'm stepping out" I informed them as I headed out the door.

"Are you sure you wouldn't like company?" Lucifer shot me a worried look.

"Nah I'm fine. I just need a minute to myself"

"Be careful dad" my remaining son Seth gave me a worried glance.

"I will buddy" I nodded as I headed out. There was somewhere I needed to go.

I stepped into the eden garden. The place where I lost my two children all over again. I thought coming back here would help me accept what happened but all it did was make me feel angry.

"Fuck!" I kicked a rock in frustration as I struggled not to burst into tears.

"Ow!" I looked up in shock to see able's annoyed face. He was wearing a cloak but it was still him "a rock to the head, seriously asshole!"

"Sorry" I muttered, still in shock "I just can't believe you're alive. How'd you survive?"

"I didn't" he pulled down his hood, revealing ram horns "isn't it ironic? The golden child became the thing he despised the most. Maybe I wasn't as justified as I thought"

"Maybe not" I took a seat next to him "but as angry as I am at you I'm still so relieved you're alive" I pulled him into my arms "let's go home. Michael will be happy to see you if that's any consolation"

"He's alive!?" his eyes lit up. Yep not feeling jealous at all! "Ok dad let's go"

"Oh I'm dad again?" I gave him a teasing look.

"Yeah yeah I was an asshole. Can we go already" he rolled his eyes fondly.

"Of course we can son" I wrapped my arm around him as I led him back to the hotel.

Once we arrived back there were many confused faces but Michael's face lit up as he pulled the boy into a hug.

"Thank god" he whispered as he held him close.

"Sir" able hiccuped "I'm so sorry I let you die"

"Shh it's ok now. Everything's alright" he stroked his hair as he held him close. I guess that visit did help.
