About an hour later found all of the wedding guests sitting on either side of the aisle, waiting for the wedding to begin.
The left side of the aisle was Sara's side and on it sat her mother, Oliver, Artemis, who'd been invited as a member of Oliver and Laurel's family, Thea, Helena, who was Thea's plus one, Lyla, Tatsu, Luke and Abby, along with a few other close family members, since Sara had tried to keep the guest list small, due to the fact that despite Sara's efforts to get Ava's family to get over themselves and come to their wedding, they'd refused, so Sara had kept the guest list small.
The only people on Ava's side were Samantha Gamble, her kids, and some of her old friends from either work or her life, since while her family were bigots, her friends weren't, since some of them had been with her since childhood, though the guest list had also included a familiar face to Oliver, since it was his fellow Justice League member, Hal Jordan, Earth's original Green Lantern and a woman who had to be his girlfriend, Carol Ferris, the CEO of Ferris Aircrafts, who Ava had served in the military with before he'd been recruited by the Green Lantern Corp and she'd gone to work for Argus. Ava was actually one of the few people outside of the League who knew Hal's secret identity and of course Sara knew all their identities because of how much she interacted with them as the Director of Argus.
But anyways, Oliver smiled when the music started and the first one to come down the aisle was Jasmine, serving her role as flower girl, tossing flowers down the aisle as she went and when she reached the altar, she quickly put her basket down before going to take her seat next to her father.
The next ones coming down the aisle were Laurel and a woman Oliver knew was named Esperanza Cruz, but everyone called her Spooner, since they were each serving the capacity of Sara and Ava's maids of honor respectively, since Laurel was obviously Sara's sister and Spooner was Ava's closest childhood friend and they worked together at Argus.
Next, everyone rose as the first bride began walking down the aisle, this one being Ava, who was wearing a stunning white suit as Jake Gamble walked her down the aisle in place of her father, for obvious reasons.
After arriving at the altar, Jake gave Ava a hug before going to stand next to his wife while Ava walked up the steps of the altar so that she was now standing on the right of John Diggle, who'd been asked to perform the ceremony and she looked down at the far end of aisle and Oliver smiled as he did the same to watch to Quentin Lance, sporting his own military formal wear, complete with the hat, walking Sara, who was now wearing a stunning white dress that had been custom designed by Vera Wang herself, since it was sleeveless and shoulderless, though Sara had chosen to forgo a veil as she walked down the aisle and Ava smiled as her bride reached the altar and after her father kissed her cheek, he went over to stand by his wife as Sara walked up to where her future wife was waiting.
"Thank you all for coming here today to bear witness as Sara Maria Lance and Ava Christina Sharpe, become joined in holy matrimony. Now, I only say this out of obligation, but if anyone here sees a reason as why these two should not be wed, speak now or forever hold your peace." John said and no one said a word.
"Now, since I know that both brides are eager to be married, let's skip to the good part. The exchanging of vows. Do you, Sara Maria Lance, take Ava Christina Sharpe to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until death do you part?" John asked Sara.
"I do." Sara said as John handed her a ring, which she slid onto Ava's finger with a smile.

"I do." Ava said with her own smile as she slid Sara's wedding ring onto her finger and John smiled as he reached the best part.
"Then, by the power vested in me by the state of Washington and the authority of Star City, I hereby pronounce you both, married for life. You may kiss each other." John said and Sara and Ava grinned as they shared their first kiss as wives.
