Laurel was currently at a bridal shop with her sister, Thea, Abby, Sam, Artemis and Yolanda along with Jasmine of course, since Sara was going to be her maid of honor with Thea, Abby, Sam, Artemis and Yolanda serving as bridesmaids and Jasmine would be the flower girl, so it made sense that all of them would be here today for her final fitting for her wedding dress.
"You look beautiful." Sara said to her big sister as Laurel came out of the changing room wearing a beautiful white wedding dress. One she'd picked out months ago and was now having her final fitting to see if any last minute adjustments needed to be made.
"Thank you. And to think not that long ago, we were doing this for you." Laurel said, remembering Sara's wedding well.
"Yeah, but I always thought that your wedding would come first." Sara said.
"So did I. But fate had other plans." Laurel said.
"What's important is that it's finally happening." Sara said as Jasmine walked up.
"You look so pretty mommy. Like a princess." Jasmine said with a grin.
"Thank you sweetheart. And you're going to look adorable in your flower girl dress." Laurel said.
"I still don't get why Yolanda and I have to wear these dresses." Artemis said as she and Yolanda walked out of the changing rooms, wearing the same green dresses that the rest of the bridesmaids would be wearing, just fitted for teenagers.
"Because I want all of my daughters to be involved in the ceremony and that includes both of you. Besides, you look great. Especially since your arm is finally out of that cast." Laurel said.
"Trust me, I am happy to finally be all healed up, especially since it means that I'm back on the squad and I could put Taylor back in her place on the bottom of the pyramid." Artemis said.
"Typical mean girl. I remember dealing with those at Balloi Prep." Thea said.
"Weren't you one of those girls there?" Sara reminded her.
"I never said I made the best choices in High School. Especially the mess that was my senior year, since that was the year the Gambit went down." Thea said.
"Yeah well, I'm not a mean girl. At least at school." Artemis said.
"It's true. Artemis might be queen bee at school, but she uses that status mainly to protect me from people like Taylor." Yolanda said.
"Anyways, I know I'm running our firm while you and Oliver are on your honeymoon, but who's running everything else?" Sam asked.
"Curtis is going to be filling as CEO of Queen Consolidated while Oliver's gone, Thea and Helena are going to be watching Artemis, Yolanda and Jasmine, since there's no way we're leaving two teenagers alone to watch our six year old, especially since they both have school themselves." Laurel said.
"Though I will be picking Jasmine up from school everyday since both Thea and Helena have their own classes to attend, so I'll be picking Jasmine up and taking her back to the mansion to watch her and the other girls when they get home from school until Thea and Helena get back." Sara added and Laurel nodded.
"And since John is already second in command, he's in charge of our other operations while we're gone." Laurel said, right as Sara noticed something on Laurel's chest. A small red dot.
"Get down." Sara shouted as she shoved her sister and niece to the ground as the others did the same, right as gunfire rang throughout the room.
"Mommy, I'm scared." Jasmine said as she clung to her mother for dear life and right now Laurel was pissed as she looked at Thea, who already had her phone out and was hitting her panic button to summon the rest of Team Arrow to their aid and it looked Sam and Sara were both texting their spouses to do the same.
"What happens if they come inside?" Yolanda asked as Sara and Sam pulled out their guns.
"We shoot like hell and get everyone out safely. Then Argus launches a missile at whoever is behind this." Sara promised.
"Do not break cover. But Sara, cover me, I need to get Jasmine to safety." Laurel said, since attacking her was one thing, since she was used to it, but her daughter, well Jasmine, since both of her foster daughters were used to it too, that was crossing a line.
"I would if they'd stop firing." Sara said, right as they heard a very welcome noise, right before the shooting stopped and when Laurel looked up, she was relieved to not only see Green Arrow there, but Flash as well. Clearly Oliver hadn't wanted to waste any time on this and it was fortunate that Barry had been in town for a tux fitting for the wedding too, since that allowed him to get here even faster.
To Laurel's relief, all the attackers were now on the ground, all of them with arrows in painful, but not necessarily lethal places on their bodies.
"Ms. Lance, are you okay?" Green Arrow asked, his modulator not hiding his concern.
"Thanks to you two. I don't want to think about what would've happened if you hadn't gotten here when you did, since who knows how long it would've taken the SCPD to arrive." Laurel said, right as Jake came running in.
"I was nearby when I got the text. Thank god you're all okay." Jake said as he rushed to his wife, who looked shaken, but no worse for wear.
"Who's behind this?" Sam asked.
"These are all hitters from the Bertinelli Crime Syndicate. Which means that Frank Bertinelli just made the top of my list." Green Arrow said, right as sirens blared to indicate the arrival of the police.
"We should go. After all, Oliver Queen needs to rush into SCPD to see his terrified fiance and daughters." Flash said and after Laurel nodded at him, Green Arrow nodded.
"Let's go. But Bertinelli is going down for this." Green Arrow said as he let Flash speed him away.
