After Abby returned to Star City after her little field trip with John Constantine, she called a team meeting for all of Team Arrow, since what she had to do now would not be easy, but it was something she needed to do after everything she'd just been through and everything she'd learned along the way.

And it was convenient timing that she'd returned to town at the same time Artemis and Yolanda had returned from their respective camps, since summer vacation had long since passed and it was time to go back to school.

Which was why she was standing in the meeting room of the Barracks in front of Oliver, Laurel, Dig, Thea, Helena, Tatsu, Curtis, Artemis, Rene, Yolanda, Jake and Samantha.

"I guess we should say welcome back not only to our two youngest members back from their camps, but also welcome back to Abby, who's been god knows where with one of the sorriest pieces of shit I've ever met." Oliver said.

"So you know Constantine too?" Abby asked, since only people who knew him well referred to him like that.

"I met him my fourth year away. I saved his life. He still owes me by the way." Oliver said.

"Well, maybe he'll finally be able to pay up on that debt, since the reason I was away was to help him right a wrong." Abby said.

"Which one? I did my homework on him when I got back and it sounds like the guy causes more problems than he causes." Oliver said.

"True. Believe me, I know that better than anyone since I was involved with him for a few years before he got too wrapped up in magic. But he managed to fix his biggest one. Astra Logue." Abby said.

"He got her back." Oliver said.

"Mind filling the rest of the class in?" John asked.

"Long story. Just like how where I was is a long story." Abby said.

"That ends with you leaving us doesn't it?" Oliver asked, recognizing the look on her face.

"How did you know?" Abby asked.

"The look on your face is the same one Luke had on his when he told me he was leaving." Oliver said and Abby nodded.

"Yes, I'm leaving Team Arrow. While Constantine and I accomplished what we set out to do, it also caused more questions for me. Questions that I need to find answers to and I can't do that on this team. I need to walk my own path, wherever it takes me." Abby said as Laurel walked up to her.

"I understand why you feel like you need to do this, but I'm gonna miss you. You've always been there when I needed you. Hell, you delivered Jasmine and you were going to deliver my next kid." Laurel said, referring to her slowly growing belly, since she was around 4 months pregnant now.

"And I promise I still will. After all, you and this team, you gave me back my life as a doctor. I'll never forget that and I promise that I'll be back when it gets closer to your due date. And besides, you can't expect me to stay away from my goddaughter for long. And I'm sure I'll be calling you plenty since I'm actually a mom now too." Abby said.

"What?" Laurel asked.

"Oliver, are you aware of Constantine's greatest blunder?" Abby asked.

"Condemning an innocent child to hell? Yeah, I know about Astra." Oliver said.

"We got her back. But Astra needs a stable parental figure in her life and the only other option for a parent in her life since her actual parents are dead, is John Constantine and there's no way in hell I am letting that piece of shit raise a child." Abby said.

"And no one blames you there. But we're gonna miss you and we're also gonna need to look for a new team doctor and team mystic." Oliver said.

"I've already got the mystic thing covered. An old friend of mine is on her way here for you to interview, more or less for the job." Abby said, right as her friend Kase entered.

"Team Arrow, meet my old friend Kase Adams. She's like John Constantine, only slightly less of an asshole and she's a mistress of the mystic arts." Abby said.

"Nice to meet you all." Kase said as Oliver looked at Abby.

"You trust her?" Oliver asked.

"With my life." Abby confirmed.

"Then we'll give her a chance to earn the rest of our trust. So we'll keep her on for a probationary period until she earns our trust completely, but we should also keep our options open to other alternatives until then." Oliver said, since he didn't trust this woman, but he did trust Abby and if she trusted Kase, then he'd go out on a limb and give her a chance to earn his, but he'd also keep his options until then.

"Nice to know where I stand." Kase said, since at least Oliver was direct about not trusting her.

"Don't take it personally. He has trust issues with everyone who isn't his family or anyone who hasn't been on this team awhile. But if Abby trusts you, I'll go out on a limb and say I do too, namely because I know she'll kill you if you hurt any of us." Laurel said.

"She's not wrong." Abby said.

"And since Abby is more powerful than I am, I'm not stupid enough to risk it. Cool bikes though." Kase said, referring to the motorcycles, each one customized for a member of Team Arrow.

"You know your bikes?" Oliver asked.

"Of course, I built my own from the ground up. Do you have your own or is this arrow bike all you have?" Kase asked and Laurel chuckled, since if there was one thing her husband loved almost as much as her and their family, it was his motorcycle.

"I've got my own and I think that this is the beginning of a wonderful friendship after all." Oliver said.

"In addition to my magic work, I'm also a skilled mechanic, which is how I make my living." Kase said.

"Welcome to the team." Oliver said.
