Zeke
After dismissal, Zeke decided to visit his mum to her house. He haven't seen her since the last time they had spoken to each other and he thought he could check on her so he would feel somehow better.
He's been knocking on the door for quite a few moments now but no one seemed home. And before he could even knock again, the door swung open, revealing Jeric who seemed not happy seeing Zeke. Just as always.
Zeke haven't really thought he would see him tonight and not that he cares about him. He came to see his mum.
"What do you need?"
"Where's mum?"
"She's asleep." Arkin maintained an eye contact, and Jeric just knew Zeke wouldn't believe just like that. "She'd just take her meds so she sleeps often lately. If you want you can it yourself." Jeric move to give him a way but Zeke just shake his head instead.
"No need. Just her these." Jeric looked down the paper bag Zeke's extended him. "I bought her fruits and her meds for this month."
"We don't need that." Zeke's ears perked up. "We're not asking for your help. I could provide. Now if that's all your concern's about. You could just go home now." Jeric then shut the door closed before Zeke could even say a word.
Zeke who's been refraining his anger, could only clenched his fist before he walks away.
That guy really knows how to piss Zeke off.
After that, Zeke just couldn't get rid of the anger that's building inside him. He the. went up to their hideout and was surprised to see Zero in the living room. He takes a moment to stare at him and make sure if it was really him.
"Hey." Zero greets him but Zeke didn't respond and just take a seat beside him. Zeke was just too occupied that he didn't even bother wondering when and why Zero's gotten back.
He grab himself a glass of beer and started chugging. Tim and Zero, who's been watching him the whole time only looked at each other. It seemed like they both have the same questions in their head.
"You seemed not in a good mood." Tim said. "What happened?"
"That Jeric is just pissing me off."
"He always does." Intoned Zero as he takes a sip from his beer. "You know what? I'm not saying that you should get used to it. But I think that's what you should have be doing. I mean, after all your mum decided to have him in his life."
"But that doesn't mean that he would take control in almost everything in her life."
"Then go back to your mum and live with her again." Zeke wasn't able to think of what to respond to what Zero just told him. "I'm just saying, you should understand the situation more."
It's not a new thing to Zeke anymore, and his friends were right. Maybe he's just being too worried of his mum that he's loosing control of his emotions now.
When morning comes, Zeke tries not to worry about his mum too much and goes on with his day. Suddenly he saw Arkin walking down the hallways which reminds him about what he heard yesterday.
He noticed Arkin's in deep thoughts as he only walk past him. The only time he got his attention is when he bumped him in the arm.
"I heard about what happened." Zeke started. "How does that make you feel you beat up Zero." Arkin remained staring to nowhere as he thought about the answer to his questions.
