Arkin
"Hey, have you heared about the new gossip?" Zeke looked up to see Richard as takes a seat across from him.
"What gossip?"
"A gossip about you is spreading around the campus. People are talking shit about you getting enclosed with Arkin and accusing you of taking Arkin's spot." He paused and tried to process if he's heared him right.
He really haven't heard anything about it. Although he's aware he would get to hear some crazy issues about him hanging out with Arkin, he never imagine it would be this crazy.
"What can you say about it?"
"I don't really think I have a say to that."
Richard's eyes went wide as he looked at him. "C'mon, aren't you going to do something about it? People are having misconception about you and you're gonna let them throw accusations about you that isn't real?"
"Are you suggesting that I should do something about it?"
"Yes, definitely."
Zeke leaned back against this head with his brow creased. "Then tell me how could you convince each one of them to believe and listen to what's true when everyone's interested with issues and false accusations."
"So you're gonna let them think bad and talk shit about you?"
Zeke sniggered. "I've always been terrible to the eyes of many. It's not a surprise to me, really. I mean, that's no different from it. I'd be more surprise to know if people started talking how good of student I am."
Richard stared at him for some quite a beat before he slowly shake his head. "For a moment, you've sounded really cool. I must say."
Zeke just snigger and started to grab all his staff before he make his way outside. He still have to see his mum this afternoon and check if she's okay. He haven't spoken to her after their last conversation and he knows she's somewhat worried of him now. He knows he's already told not to come to her house without informing him but Zeke doesnt really care at all. Nothing could make him stop. Not even that Jeric.
A few minutes after he left the campus, he felt someone from behind just stamp him from the back, making him fell down the ground.
He started scratching the back of neck when he heard footsteps coming to his way. And when looked up, he saw Ricky who's now infront of him with his two other friends.
"Hey there, Zeke. It's been a while since we've seen each other. How'd you miss me?" Ricky said with a huge smile on the face and Zeke just maintained the serious expression on his face as he tried to stand up.
"You came out later than expected." He saw how it made Ricky snigger as he adjust his crutch, keeping him from standing.
"You have no idea how long I've waited to finally meet you again. Do you see this? How does it make you feel that you actually made me have this tipid thing with me everyday? Do enjoy watching me suffer, huh? Tell me, does that feed your ego?"
"Even better." He said after a few beats of silence. And it looked like he's made a good shot of annoying Ricky as it made him clenched his fist.
Zeke watched as how Ricky tried to come near him when suddenly, he felt a strong kick from his back making him fell back on the floor he's been sent. And this time, the pain just start to crawl up his spines.
