Zeke
Something just doesn't feels right. On his way to their hideout, Zeke had been noticing very strange feeling as if there's someone around eyeing on him.
Before he could even take another step, he paused on his feet. He lets out a small sigh before he says, "I know you're somewhere around. Better show up yourself now."
Zeke didn't wait for another moment when he felt a presence behind her back. And his suspicion was correct as soon as he spun around. He saw the same guy that approach him the other night.
"I knew you weren't dumb. Although it seems like it took you a while to realize you've had an eye around you." Jason speaks as he take a few closer to Zeke.
"What do you want now?"
"You already know what I want."
Zeke rolls his eyes. "Haven't I made things clear to you already? I told you. I'm not doing it." He stated in a bored tone but that only makes Jason even interested about him.
"Come on, Zeke. Pride's not gonna provide you money. Just think about the offer. Your just gonna do what you would usually do and then you would get the money. It's as easy as that."
"Then why don't you go do it yourself." Jason bit his lips, shutting his eyes close. "I've said this before and I would say this one last time. I'm not going to take your offer. I hope you understand."
"I'm sorry but I don't think I will. I mean, just who would take down a really good offer? As far as I know, your mum's on medication and you still have some unpaid money."
"So you're spying on me."
"I know it's not really a surprise to you. You're not be in this industry and you know very well we have eyes around us."
Zeke take in a breath as he thought how serious this guy is. For the past years that he's been part of a gang, he's never had been offered to do a work alone. Although he knows he's capable, he never thought it was something he would feel like doing.
"Just think about the money." Jason was waiting for his response but Zeke didn't give him any and just began to walk away.
It looks like that conversation would never turn into an end if he would still talk to him and would've never get the point.
That guy might have point but he would never want to take that into consideration. He work with a team and he'll never take advantage of anything just cause it would benefit him alone.
.
The next day, Zeke was on his way to school, when a car pulled over infront of him. But it didn't take another time to figure who it was, as the window rolls down, revealing Arkin's dad.
"Zeke Haris, right?"
He stares at him for a few beats before he replied. "Is there anything I can help you with?"
"Can I have moment? I just liked to talk to you about something." Zeke stared at him for a few seconds, wondering what he'd like to talk about. But thinking how he's related to his son, Zeke thought he might know what it could possibly be.
As soon as they reached the nearest coffee shop. They settled on an empty table as their wait for their drinks to get served. And Zeke was unsure what he's supposed to do now.
Zeke's well aware about Arkin's dad being serious. For someone who's work requires a good social skills, this man just looked so intimidating. He's only talked to him once but he could already tell what kind of person he is.
