Zeke

Soon after dismissal, Arkin gets back to the apartment with fruits he bought along the way. The moment he stepped inside, he was shocked to see Zeke laying on the floor.

"Zeke!" He immediately grabs his arm and help him stand on his feet. "What happened? Are you okay?" He asked but Zeke couldn't make a respond as his body is just shaking.

It looks like his fever's getting worse as his temperature than earlier when he left him.

He helped him rest back on his bed and started cleaning his wounds he get from last night. Zeke's could hardly move so Arkin had to keep an eye on him and make sure he's doing well. He even tried his best to cook him food.

When Zeke was done eating, Arkin was ready to leave with the tray on his hands when Zeke grab his arm. He looked at his hands before looking at Zeke who keep his eyes closed.

"Do you need anything?"

"Take a rest now. I know you're tired too." Zeke said, almost a whisper.

"I'm okay. I'm gonna have to clean the kitchen first." He said but Zeke didn't let go of his hands. "Okay fine, I'll stay here." He then take a chair but Zeke moved to the side, giving him space beside him.

As he lays down the beside him, he felt Zeke's hot body temperature while he's shaking.

Arkin looked at Zeke who keep his eyes closed before he began to stare up the ceiling as he recalls all that's happened today.

"Zeke..." He calls out but Zeke didn't respond and just moaned to let him know he's listening. "What's that one thing you can sacrifice for that person who's really important to you?"

Arkin knew his sudden question had made Zeke confused as a moment of silence had occured.

"Why'd you ask?"

"I was thinking about that question recently. Nothing serious, just like to hear your answer."

"My life." Zeke spoke, quietly. "If we're talking about the people that's important that we can't afford to loose, I'm willing to sacrifice my life."

"In what extent?"

"Anything. I could die for that person if I had to."

"So you're willing to risk everything? Even your own life?"

"Yeah. Just as how I'm willing to do anything for my mum." He felt the emotions through his voice.

"To such an extent that you're willing to kill someone to save other people's lives?" He asked a d for a moment he thought he was asleep when Zeke spoke.

"I'll sleep now." Was the last thing he said while Arkin just remain looking at him, thinking about all that he said.

.

The next day Zeke had woke up, he could already move a muscle and is feeling much better than yesterday.

"You better take a rest first." Arkin told him as Zeke puts on his jacket.

Arkin had been telling him to take a rest first as his fever might get back but Zeke wouldn't listen. He's only been sick for one day but he felt like he's wasted a day without doing anything, and he couldn't just sit there and do nothing.

"Don't worry, I'm okay now." He said but that doesn't seemed to convince Arkin one bit as he looked at him a serious face, making Zeke slightly laugh to himself. "I'll be back soon. I'm just gonna visit my mum. I promise I won't stress myself." He then tap him on the shoulder as he walk to the front doors.
