Zeke

As soon as he arrives to their hideout Zeke saw Tim sitting in the living area. Just by how Tim looked at him, Zeke already knew they're gonna be having a serious conversation right now.

"Where's Gab and Harry?"

"Why didn't you tell Zero about it?" Tim asked him instead, making him unable to take another step to the the kitchen.

He lets out a breath before saying, "I just thought we shouldn't let him worried about it as much as he have to worry about our failed mission."

"But you know very well, Zero wouldn't take it that way."

"I know." Zeke said plainly, making Tim chuckle.

Zeke wouldn't really be surprised if Zero knows about what happened already but it's just a good thing that it's finally over and they don't have to worry about it anymore.

"What about Arkin? He did let off a huge amount of money. Although he insisted, I still think you shouldn't let him."

"I didn't let him. I already told him I would take care of it but he did it anyways."

"That kid." Said Tim and Zeke just shook his head.

Zeke was as amused as Tim is to Arkin. He might be very irrational but Arkin knows the value of friendship.

"Don't worry about it. I already paid him."

"How? Where'd you even get the money from?"

For a moment, Zeke paused and recall about what he did to provide the money. But not that he had plans telling him anyways.

"It doesn't matter." He said and Tim remain looking at Zeke as he made his way to the kitchen.

It was the only time Zeke had realize what he did. He felt terrible for breaking their agreement but he's not sorry that he did that for his friends. Now that it's over, he just hopes it would remain as a secret.

.

When Friday comes, Arkin was having second mind if he would attend the event. It wasn't really his thing. In fact he's never been to a party but, he ended up attending anyways.

When he arrives at the gymnasium where the event would be held, there's a lot students everywhere already. They do looked so excited and which Arkin had already expected.

Arkin stood on the corner of the room while looking at everyone when his eyes went to Kevin who's talking with his co-members in the art's club. Arkin was staring to his way a little not too long that the next thing he notice, Kevin is now looking on his way too.

He's a little surprise Kevin also attend the event. He knew they both hate being around a huge crowd.

Suddenly, his attention was brought back to the present when Jenny appeared infront of him.

"Hi." She greets him with a smile on his face but Arkin didn't bother returning the gesture. "I thought you wouldn't come."

"I think I might go home soon anyways."

"Why? You better be thinking of having fun tonight." She said and before Arkin could respond, they saw Zeke walking past them. And Jenny noticed how Arkin watched as Zeke disperse through the crowd.

"Are you friends with that Zeke?" Jenny asked, making him looked at her. "I noticed you've been hanging out with him very often. I thought someone just made up a story about you hanging out with him but, it seems like it's true."
