Arkin

His day went off pretty much normal. Arkin goes to his class and do as what he would normally do. But he do felt like a lot more better this time, aside the fact that he doesn't got place to call his home anymore.

When dismissal comes, Arkin only take a few steps from the campus when he saw his mum leaning against her car, making him paused for a while. She had no other reason to be here which Arkin had quickly decipher, and just when she saw him, he watched as how his mum ran towards him.

At this point, he knew his mother already knows about what happened and the rest is pretty much predictable from here.

His mother immediately cupped his face with both of her hands as she looked at him down to his feet. Worry is evident on his face.

"How are you? Are you okay?"

"I'm okay." He said as he tried to avert his face. But his mum wasn't convinced at all.

She might be overreacting at this point but that doesn't what she cares about.

"Your father told me about what happened."

"I know he will." He said, coldly. His mother reached for his hands and squeezes it gently while looking into his face.

"Honey, I know you've been had a good relation with your father nor to me but, you know we're just being concerned of you and your safety. Please go home now, Arkin."

"I don't have a place to call my home anymore. Actually, I don't think I ever had."

"What are you talking about? You know you can stay in my house. You've got a room there."

Arkin stared at his mum as he thought what she's saying. He doesn't know if he should be happy or what that someone still shows concern for him but thinking about how they had been to him as parents just made him feel more aloof than ever as they were basically the reason why his life had come this point.

"Thanks for the offer but I don't  think I would want to live in any of your houses. I wanted to find my peace for now cause' that's why I needed." He then draw back his hands and stood straight. "I'll have to go now."

His mum didn't get to stopped him the moment he made his way off and not like she could stop him anyways.

He's been away from her for the last years. And it doesn't feel any different not living with them. It even felt much better

.

When he arrived to their hideout he finally was able to meet Zero who's been waiting for him since he come back.

As expected, Arkin had got scolded by Zero for not telling him about what happened. But more importantly, hes's glad to see that he's okay now.

"I hope that's not gonna happen again." Zero told him and Arkin nod his head. "And about the money. Don't worry, I'm gonna pay you. Just tell me how much it was."

"No, you don't have to worry about it. It was me who insisted. And besides, Zeke already paid me."

"Zeke?" Zero asked with his brow raised. "Where'd he get the money?"

Arkin shrugged, "He hasn't told me." A few moment of silence had occured as though Zero was processing something in his head before he nodded his head.

It was the only time Arkin was reminded where did Zeke actually get the money from. As far as he know, Zeke's pretty rough lately.

He guess he did find a way just to help his friends.

.

Zeke was on his way to the where he parked the motorcycle with a huge bag on his arm. He planned on dropping by his mum's house and give her her meds.
