Arkin
It felt like there's a huge weight all over his body when the morning came around. Arkin haven't get any sleep last night thinking about what's going on.
As much as he wanted to do something he doesn't how to. He also wanted to do what Zeke has told him even when it felt so hard for his part but Arkin just can't take it.
As he was seated in the dining table, when his father had placed a laptop down the table. He looked up to him before bringing his eyes back at the screen.
"Seventeen year old, surrender after killing his step father, 12th in July. The suspect were reportedly a part of gang and was after having a quarrel with his step father—." Arkin shut the laptop off when he could no longer bare hearing anything else.
He looked down his plate, feeling his father staring at him.
"See, that guy is no good." His dad say and He stood and immediately made his way off without a word.
At this point, people had seen the news. It doesn't bother him how people would think about him he's more concerned about Zeke and how is he doing now.
When he arrives to his school, he get the same scenario as he walk past the people as they would look his way while fussing about the news.
He was unable to take another step when Richard, Deven appeared before him. By the concentration to their faces, he knows the reason why their looking worried.
"Have you talked to Zeke? The news had been spreading around everywhere. Do you believe he could do that?"
Arkin only looked down the ground, not knowing what to say at this moment.
"Arkin, isn't your father a lawyer?" Deven asked him this time. "You know Zeke would've never do that."
"Arkin, please help him. Help Zeke." Arkin tried to look away when he felt the tears forming in his eyes.
Without a word, he spun to his heel and made his way down the hallway. As soon as he grabs his bicycle he hopped on it and began to ride off.
He wasn't really thinking if he'll get stopped before he could make it outside. But that's less for his concern now.
He's had thought about this idea since last night and now that he's got to talk to Zeke's friends, he just had reason why he should make this happen.
He was riding his bike faster than he could when suddenly, he heard a loud honked just before he could cross the road. Before he even knew it, everything went blank and felt a big impact through his whole body.
.
Arkin tried to move a muscle as soon as his eyes opened, but felt the pain throughout his body. He started looking around and saw his mum sitting beside him who didn't take a while before she noticed him finally awake.
His mind's still in daze but he could clearly remembered what happened and where he's at now.
"Arkin, are you okay? Do you you need anything? I'm gonna call the doctor—"
"Zeke..." Was the first words that comes out his mouth which made his mum unable to finish her sentence. "I had to talk him." He attempt to sit up despite the pain he's trying to ignore but his mum wouldn't let him.
"Arkin, you need to take rest first. You almost died from getting hit by a car and you're worrying about other people?" She held his hands and made him look at her in the eyes. "Honey, I know your in deep pain right now, so please, rest for now."
