Zeke
Zeke was just sitting, his head resting against the wall, slightly looking up the ceiling as he waits until the boys get back and for Zero to wake up, hopefully. He just wanted to talk to him now.
"You seemed in deep thoughts." Zeke was brought back to the present the moment he hears the voice. He looked at Zero who forced a smile to his way. Zeke stood up from his seat to reach his place.
"Are you okay? Do you want me to call the doctor?"
"No, I'm okay. I just can't contain my fake sleeping anymore."
"What do you mean?"
"I was awake the whole time."
"Why?"
"I was waiting if you would talk to me and cry but it seems like you're not."
"You're insane." Zeke blurted and they just both laugh before he gets back to his seat as he look at Zero.
Although Zero's acting fine, he knows he's still in pain as he couldn't move a muscle yet. And it's just hard to look at him in this state.
"Hey, don't look at me like that." Said Zero when he noticed how Zeke looked at him with such pity.
"What are you talking about?"
Zero hissed. "You're looking at me like I was diseased. I'm not about to die. Look at me with a smile at least.
"You could still talk shit while laying there and couldn't even move a muscle."
"That's harsh you know."
"Truth hurts." At some point, it made them both feel better. Zeke's was finally able to to him and assure Zero's feeling okay now.
"I heard about what you did yesterday." Zeke brings his glance back at Zero after what he's heard. He's surprised he knows about it already but he will not be surprised how Zero knows about it. "I wanted to punch you in the face for barging into my problem but... I guess a thank you would do."
Zeke sniggered. "There's no need to anyways. I just did what I have to... what I want to." He said and broke eye contact with him.
"Really? Like what you did to that guy who beat up Arkin?" Zeke stayed silent at the mention of that topic. Zero's aware of what happened and it's no shock to him really.
Now that he recalls about it, Arkin's probably mad at what he did which was the reason why he's trying to avoid him. But Zeke knew he didn't repent anything he did.
"What are you still doing here by the way? I heard your exam would be few weeks from now."
"I could take the exam even without having to review."
Zero's lips parted as he shot him a look of disbelief. "Wow. I don't know if I should be impressed or just tell you how boastful you are." Zero said which made them both laugh again. "But seriously I'm good now. You can leave. I'll sure be okay."
"I know. I'll just wait until they're back."
"Okay, if you say so. I'm going back to sleep now." He said and Zeke just nod his head and just before Zero could shut his eyes closed, he looked at Zeke and said, "By the way, you talk to Arkin. He sure needs an explanation." Was the last thing he said and Zeke didn't bother responding.
.
The next day, Arkin has been hearing a lot about Ricky. It's been spreading all over the campus that he's finally entered his classes which doesn't really surprised him. Now that he's finally out, Arkin just can't imagine what Ricky's next move this time.
