Keilani sat on the navy blue beanbag next to her bed, scrolling through Instagram stories with one hand while peeling off her chipping black nail polish with the other. It had become a subconscious habit. With all her friends busy, she didn't have the option to go out, and she didn't feel like going alone. So, she remained at home, passing the time. She was about to take an afternoon nap when she received a message from none other than Dream.

After a few minutes, they both entered the same server. Lani noticed his avatar was just the default Steve skin. She made her character jump around his, him doing the same. 'hi' Lani typed in chat, her little character circling Clay's.
A small 'hi :)' appeared on the corner of Lani's screen, her Minecraft character crouched up and down in response. They both ran off, exploring the flower biome they had spawned in. Clay picked a dandelion up and threw it at Lani's character, Behind the screen, she smiled at the gesture. She sent him a little 'thank u :)' through text before running off.
They spent hours immersed in the game, doing numerous activities. At the moment, Lani was busy decorating the garden of the oak cottage they had built together. Meanwhile, Clay was out gathering more wood. She spotted the Steve skin running back to their base, he entered the cottage and approached the crafting table to build a sign.
Once he came out, he placed a sign by their door. It read 'lani + clay :)'. Seeing the sign, the latter's character jumped and circled him. She was thankful he was here, keeping her company.
