Clay clicks on the video and Lani comes into view. She offers the camera a small smile as she plays her acoustic guitar. The sound of her strumming fills the room, as Lani effortlessly played the chords of the song.
"Panalangin ko sa habang buhay," her voice was soft, angelic even. Clay was impressed, he'd never heard her sing in that tone before. The only time he's ever heard the latter sing was when she sent him a voice memo of her previous song. "Makapiling ka, makasama ka, 'yan ang panalangin ko.." A small smile was creeping up the girl's face on the video.
