We sit in each other's presence for a long time. His head deep in my lap, his hands grasping onto me like I'll disappear if he let go.

"Can we go home now?" He questions breaking me from my thoughts.

"Please" he adds sweetly.

Without a word, I gently nod tapping his arm gently. He slowly moved to his feet.

His hand falls to eye level. Gesturing for me to grab it.

Helping me up he shoves my body into his. Engulfing me in his arms in a smooth motion.

My chest meets his and all the worry falls away.

Reluctantly pulling away his hand grasps mine as he follows me to the car.

"Where's your car?" I question.

"No clue" he returns.

Arriving at my house I notice the clock. 3:30 am it reads.

Looking at my sweet boy next to me I gently push his arm to wake him up.

"We're here" I say lowly.

His eyes finally meet mine after looking at his surroundings, his lips pull into a smile.

A smile that doesn't match his eyes.

He follows me up the stairs to my bedroom. He wastes no time tearing his clothes off.

Now in his boxers, he saunters toward the bed. Leaving me speechless.

"C'mere" he beckons.

I follow his lead tearing my jacket and sweats off before falling in bed next to him.

His hands move to my hips dragging me on top of him.

Without another word, his lips crash onto mine.

Squeezing my hips he gently moves me closer to him.

"I fucking missed you" he says breathlessly.

"I missed you-" he continues placing another kiss on my lips

"So-" another kiss

"Much" another kiss.

"I was so worried about you" I back away before he can lay another one.

Poking his chest, I scoot back in his lap to create distance between us. Crossing my arms I raise my eyebrow in need of answers.

"You left me without saying a word" I continue, this time my voice betrays me and comes out as a whine.

"I'm so sorry baby, I didn't mean to worry you." His hand moves to my arm pulling it into his own he leaves a kiss on my hand before entwining our fingers.

"Continue" I almost demand.

"I got a text from the private investigator I had on my dad. It'd been months since she had given me anything. That night I ignored her messages. I figured it was just another dead end." He explains.

I nod for him to continue.

"She sent 6 messages that night. Summed up to his last whereabouts then that he had a daughter, oh and of course that he died two months ago in a hospital. Alone." He finishes with a fake laugh and a slight frown.

"You have a sister?" I question, knowing he doesn't want to speak any more about his father.

"I do, her name is Penelope. She's 5 and lives with her mother about an hour away." This he says with a smile.

"Well, are you going to try and find her?" I retort, returning him the same smile.

"I don't know if that's my place, I mean I'd love to meet her but it's not my place you know" he says looking away for a moment in thought before returning his eyes to me.

"She's your sister Corbin. And I'm sure she'd love you." I say truthfully.

"Enough about all my family problems. Now get your ass over here I missed you" he smirks.

Without another word, he pulls me to his chest leaving sweet kisses all over my face.

I try to hide my face in his chest but to no avail, he attacks my face, then my neck and anywhere else he can possibly reach to kiss.

"Okay, OKAY stop it!" I yell out playfully.

He instead flips me onto my back with a swift motion.

"NEVERRR" he taunts.

He pretends to lean in for a kiss but instead tickles my sides.

An animalistic growl erupts from my mouth. He isn't phased at all, in fact, he just continues like the monster he is.

"CORBINNNN" I scream with the biggest smile on my face.

He immediately stops his eyes now 3 shades darker than before.

"I still get giddy hearing you cry my name out like that, nerd" he says with the fattest grin on his beautiful face.

"Oh you mean like.. Corbinnn" I try my best at being seductive knowing how much it turns him on when I say his name.

He groans with an mhm before replying "Just like that".

He falls beside me with a huff knowing we are both way too tired to continue our banter.

My leg instinctively falls across his as does my arm which wraps around his inked chest.

His hand pushes my head slowly to his lips. Lightly kissing it he whispers

"God I love you"

"And I love you, Corbin Paine" I whisper back.

Quietly entwined with one another, soaking up the other's being.

If here I die, here I shall lay, in peace as in his arms I am not worries only love.

Thoughts leave me as I peacefully drift off to sleep in his warm arms.
