We pull into our favorite strip mall. "Sally's boutique?" Mel fake questions like that's not the store we go to every time we come. Walking into the store we each head to our sections and split ways.
The store has racks along the walls and in the middle, there are all types of clothes and aesthetics here hence why we always end up here. I'm searching for something casual and cute. I don't go to parties so it's not like I have anyone to impress.
I look through the racks and find the cutest flowy pastel purple top grabbing it I walk to the back and see Mel running to the changing room with what looks like 50 dresses sending her a smile I look for a skirt to match.
After what felt like 5 hours Mel finally finds what she wants though she also grabbed 4 extra dresses and 8 tops. I ended up getting a matching purple mini-skirt and white below-the-knee socks.
Throwing our clothes in the trunk Raven heads to a coffee place because we are addicted over here. Pulling into the drive-thru we tell her our orders and pull up to the window.
Mel and I notice Raven blushing at the girl giving us our drinks and we giggle. "Shut up you two" Raven almost yells at us as she drives off. "Oo someone's got a crush" I poke her shoulder and smile. "No I don't-" we cut her off by laughing.
Raven dropped me off about an hour ago and I've been scrolling on my phone ever since. That is until I get a text from an unknown #. "See you at the party tomorrow". I don't save numbers often so it's not out of the ordinary.
Typing back what anyone would "Who dis?" The bubbles pop up then the name I wish I'd never have to hear again pops up "Corbin" and with that, I'm off to the shower deciding to ignore Corbin's desire to piss me off.
