I unlock the door quietly and walk back to the sink. He barges in and shuts the door behind him relooking it. "Looked like you were having the time of your life out there" he says deeply as he steps to me arms crossed with that dumb face .
"I certainly was until I saw you staring at me" confidence is the best side affect of alcohol I'm telling you. "How could I not Kat?" He takes my silence as his chance to move even closer till our toes are almost touching which causes me to back closer to the sink. "What do you mean" my face ridden with confusion. "You look good" he explains "really good".
He's so close to me I swear I can smell his scent, minty and woodsy. Changing the subject "why did you get upset earlier" I question him and his eyebrows furrow in confusion like mine did mere seconds ago.
"On the couch" I explain further. He places his hand in his hair pushing it back looking at the ground before returning eye contact once again. "Because Vincent was getting too handsy with you" I look at him in shock. His face blank meaning he's dead serious. "It was just a dare" I tell him returning the same face before giggling.
He quickly places his hands on either side of the sink trapping me in. And blowing through his cheek. "Why did you follow me in here Corbin?" It's a good question he's never seemed to like to be around me yet he followed me in here.
"I love hearing my name come from those pretty lips of yours, nerd" he looks down to me as he's taller than me and has to put effort into looking at me. I blush and he notices. Granting me a wide dimpled smile and butterflies in my tummy. "I was making sure you were alright" my face falls and I begin questioning his real intentions.
"Why you hate me" he frowns at my words making me look down so I don't have to look at him. "I don't hate you Katherine" that's the first time he's ever called me by my real name and not something rude, spiteful or his infamous ""nerd"". He softly grabs my chin and pulls me to look at him. He lightly bites his lip before I begin.
"I just-" abruptly cut off by someone knocking. "Fuck off" he yells out not moving his position or his eyes from mine. I smirk at him tilting my head and he laughs. Like a genuine laugh. "So what now" I break the silence and he blushes. The Corbin Paine is blushing and laughing because of me. Like crimson red. He moves one hand to my waist in a quick movement placing me on the sink. "What are you-" cut off once again but this time by his lips on mine.
