"Red or pink?" An indecisive Mel squeaks with one of each color in either hand.

"Pink" I retort blowing on my now Snow White-painted fingers.

It's Sunday already meaning tomorrow is THE dinner. I'm beyond nervous but my girlies are keeping me from thinking about it too much.

"He's going to die when he sees you in that dress tomorrow!" Raven says bringing me from my thoughts.

"You think?" I say as my face reddens. I knew it was a cute dress but death worthy is reaching.

"Definitely! Blue is your color. You'll be lucky if you make it there before midnight" Mel says.

"Shut up" my mind having a hard time believing a simple dress could cause us to be late.

We ended up watching my favorite crime documentary. They both fell asleep by the first episode.

"Are you still awake?" a notification reads above my screen. Author is of course that of Corbin.

I open the text and respond with a silly sleeping emoji and a bed.

He sends back a laughing emoji and "No you aren't my love, I know you don't sleep without telling your handsome boyfriend goodnight"

"Handsome?" I laugh at my own text. Quietly of course being, Mel is curled up beside me snoring her cares away.

He sends back a picture of him in a towel. I assume he's just gotten out of the shower.

"Nope" I simply reply

"You ready for tomorrow?" He texts and reminds me of my anxiety.

"Of course, I can't wait" I'm lying I'm so nervous about it that I could literally puke. I know it's not that big of a deal but like what if I say something weird?

"Don't be scared baby, it will be just fine" he responds.

And my nerves are calm, well only because of his name for me baby.

"I'll see you tomorrow, sleep well my love" he continues after I didn't respond to his last text.

"Goodnight handsome" I finally respond.

"I knew it" his last text reads.

I put my phone on the charger and leave it on my nightstand. Shutting off the tv I cover my sleeping friends and fall into my pillow.

"Your Aunt made eggs" Mel yells jumping on top of me.

"Get up silly goose" she continues as I slowly open my eyes.

We ate breakfast and watched a couple of movies before it was finally time for me to get ready. They decided I needed their help getting ready. I don't but the gesture is sweet.

"Now blush, red or pink?" Mel says holding up the two different shades.

"She's going to be blushing enough" Raven laughs from her comfy spot on my bed.

I throw a makeup brush at her, already blushing.

"Am not, and pink" I reply to both.

My makeup is finished as well as my hair, which is put up into a pony with 2 strands framing my face.

I walk out of the bathroom and my Aunt who wasn't there before screams from my vanity chair.

"You look beautiful Kat" she says in a calm tone, unlike the blood curdling scream she just gave.

"Thank you" I say lowly.

The girls left after doing my hair and makeup. They figured I'd need time to get my thoughts together.

"Sounds like he's here" she says pointing out the window, referring to the sound of his exhaust.

I rush down the stairs to open the door but he's already waiting in the doorway.

"Holy-" his hand reaches to his face keeping himself from continuing his foul words.

His gaze follows down my body before landing on my eyes. I must be ten shades of red before him.

His feet move towards me before meeting mine at the bottom step.

"What I meant to say was you look ravishing" he says confidently taking my hand he leads me off the steps.

His lips meet my forehead gently. So much for being late for dinner. He's so sweet though.

"You ready then?" Before I can respond he cuts me off.

"Where's your jacket?" His face falls looking outside then back at me.

"Upstairs" he states sternly and points for me to get moving. Turning around I run up the stairs not realizing he's following right behind me.

His hand meets my back as I go to open my bedroom door.

"How did I get so lucky?" He whispers just loud enough for me to hear.

"Good question" I joke.

His hand leaves my back as he grabs my jacket. Holding it for me to slip into.

"God you're so beautiful" he utters once more, turning me around to face him. He reaches behind my neck gently pulling my pony out of my hood.

"Thank you" I whisper.

He pulls me in for a sweet kiss. Grabbing my waist he pulls me closer to his chest. His scent engulfs my nose and suddenly I forget we have a dinner to attend to.

I pull his face closer to mine to give myself better access to his kind lips.

"We need to go" he chuckles. His words mean nothing because he pulls me backward until the back of my knees meet my mattress.

"We need to leave huh?" I say breathlessly between kisses.

He hums and shakes his head, without leaving my lips. I fall on the bed unable to keep my legs still.

He plants a few more kisses on my neck before helping me to my feet.

"I'd love to stay here with you all night and continue this, but we have to get going" he says in a loving tone.

"Shall we?" I say gesturing to the door.

"We shall." he responds with a smile.

The ride there felt like years. His hand entwined with mine helped calm my nerves. The last song finally ends and we enter his driveway.

He turns the car off locking the door to make sure I don't escape before he meets me at my door.

"Malady" his hand falls into mine helping me out of the car. Have I said how deeply in love with this man I am?

"You got this" he reassures me with a kiss before entering the doorway hand in hand.

Immediately I smell the aromas coming from the kitchen.

"Corbin that better be you and that stunning girl of yours" his mother sounds from the kitchen.

Everything I had been nervous about falls away at her voice.
