We sit down on the long recliner chairs. Raven sat at the end then Draven, Mel, Vincent, Me, and Corbin whose already sprawled out in the chair next to me. We collectively decided on a Horror movie. Minus Vincent who said he might piss himself.

The movie starts I grab a blanket from the chair ahead of us. "Can I have some of that?" Corbin whispers beside me lifting the armrest. I reluctantly place the big blanket on both of us before sitting down.

As the movie starts to get good I feel Corbin shift next to me moving his leg close enough to lean against mine. I'm about to say something but Vincent starts to yell "Oh shit, now that was unexpected" his eyes wide as a bug.

I straighten my leg to create distance from him. Instead of taking the hint, he moves closer placing his hand on mine and pushing my leg till it falls atop his.

"What are you doing?" I whisper to him. His eyes are still on the screen. I almost think he's going to ignore me. "Getting comfortable" he says completely ignoring my gaze.

The creature jumps out of the woods and Vincent grabs my arm in a panic. "Oh hell no. How did he survive that hit" he screams still holding my arm. I look to Corbin to see he's shooting daggers at Vin. Vincent lets go of my arm at once placing it back in his lap.

I look back at the screen. A hand slides to my thigh "I love watching you squirm under my touch nerd" his voice sounds next to me. I ignore him pretending I didn't hear him and am solely interested in the movie.

Everyone falls asleep halfway through the movie. Everyone except Raven who is retrieving snacks. "Come here" Corbin requests lowly. "Come where?" Oblivious to his question.

Before I get an answer in I'm hoisted onto his lap. "Here" he retorts. "I didn't mean what I said last night, I just didn't want you to be involved in unneeded drama" he says placing his hand on my back to keep me balanced.

"Why are you doing this?" I question. "I can't stay away from you Kat" He moves his hand lower causing me to move closer to him away from his touch.

"What do you mean by stay away?" His gaze lowers to mine. "I thought you'd want your space from me since what happened that night" I almost see a frown fall across his face.

"I never said that. Honestly, I just feel like your behavior toward me has been weird since the bathroom. I mean you haven't cracked one joke towards me in days" I murmur and he laughs.

"You're upset because I haven't poked at you?" His smile is perfectly clear from the light of the screen.

"Well, yes you've been mean to me since the day I met you and you just stopped." It's almost weird. He shifts me further into his lap our faces now mere inches from connecting. My stomach twirls into a knot as I feel him beneath me.

"You look so good on top of me" he says under his breath. "Can I ask you something?" his sweet minty beer-smelling breath flows through my nose. "Ask away" Whatever he has to say can't be worse than what I'm thinking right now.

"Do you regret that night?". My face drops from his question.

My face straightens for awhile before I answer. "No of course not Corbin" I don't regret it whatsoever.

Though In the beginning I was embarrassed I didn't regret what happened in that bathroom.

"Good me either" his smile returns. Just as I think he's about to lean in for a kiss we hear the door open to the theatre.

I jump off his lap and back in my seat. The sound of the door shutting wakes everyone and Vincent jumps like he's just awoken from a bad dream.

"I brought the goods" Raven knowingly throws me the potato chips. "Let's watch something less scary and more funny" Vincent pleads beside me and laughter erupts through the room.
