I must've dozed off because the next thing I know I hear the bell ring again. "When is Rav arriving at this shithole?" Mel hums next to me as she walks me to English.

"She told me 2nd but knowing how she is she probably won't be here till the end of 3rd," I say matter-of-factly because Raven is never on time. "True. I'll see you at lunch. Love you see you Kat" She gives me a side hug before slipping off to her class.

I sit down pulling out my notebook and pen when I feel a chair pull out next to me and a dark presence occupy the seat.

"Since when does Corbin Pierce attend classes?" I say causing him to look up from his phone and shrug he instantly goes back to typing on his phone.

"Today we are writing a paragraph about what we thought of the poem we read yesterday. Make sure to use correct grammar and spelling. That's all get to it" the teacher instructs from her desk.

I quickly begin writing my thoughts on the poem. "Nerd" I hear the annoying dick say under his breath next to me, ignoring him I continue writing. "No comeback?" I shake my head.

He sits up placing his phone into his jeans and lays his head atop his hand turning toward me. With the same smile from earlier. I look up and give a quick "nope" and return to my writing.

Just in time Raven finally walks into the class handing the teacher a late note and sitting down across me with a devious smile. "We are going to that party tomorrow no ifs ands or buts" is the first thing she says to me.

Corbin laughs making my skin crawl. "This one at a party just not seeing it" Corbin points to me in disbelief. "I'm in" I growl looking at a stunned Corbin dead in his eyes.
