Thirty two

She continued showing him pictures and stickers for what felt like hours. She even showed him a picture of me in the pool with a swimsuit bottom full of dive fish.

I decided I was done with the embarrassment and made up a lie that Raven texted me inviting us over.

Which she did but I responded this morning declining her offer. But now anything would be better than him seeing the photo of me screaming on a camel.

Thankfully it was on the last page of the last book and I'd already come up with my plan of escape.

"Did Raven even text you?" Corbin voices from my bed as I pack my backpack with my swimsuit and an extra pair of clothes.

"Yes, but I declined this morning I didn't know if you'd want to go" I lie. Really I didn't know if I'd feel hungover.

"I'd love to, Thank you for the offer" he says with a cute attitude. He's so dramatic, I love it.

"Of course" I retort playing into his words.

I zip up my bag and throw a pillow at Corbin so he can cover his eyes while I change out of my PJs.

I put on a simple white cami top and a pair of denim shorts. I pull the pillow off of his face and pull his arm helping him to his feet.

"I like those" he informs me, his lip is drug into his mouth as he bites his lips. His gaze is on my shorts.

"Perv" I joke. Knowing he's going to come back with something smart I move my hand to his mouth.

"Just kidding" I continue. His tongue meets my fingers causing me to move my hand away from his face.

He grabs my bag with his stupid smirk still on his sweet face. I follow him to the car hoping we don't run into my aunt.

"Now I know why you canceled" Raven says looking at Corbin who has just disappeared up the staircase with my bag.

"Did you two have sex?" Mel says loud enough for the whole block to hear. Her face is filled with questions as she awaits my answer. Though I'm sure it's clear on my face.

"That's none of your business" I mutter out. My cheeks are red enough that you'd think I'd been in the sun all day.

"I already have my answer. Congrats" Mel says

"We didn't- we didn't have sex" I stutter. We didn't, we did other stuff but I'm still the same virgin I was the last time she saw me.

"Mhm" Raven finally chimes into the conversation.

I hear my boyfriend making his way back to me thankfully causing the conversation to end.

"Where're the boys?" Corbin speaks behind me.

"They went to buy beer and pick up Vincent's girlfriend" Mel retorts. Raven huffs at her comment.

I do feel bad that she's like 5th wheeling but to be fair she's had every chance to get the girl from the coffee shop's number. I mean she is there at least 3 times a week.

I look at Corbin who is now wearing swim shorts that I'm guessing are Dravens being they are far too small.

"I'm going to go change. I'll be right back" I say to the girls knowing Corbin is likely going to follow me.

And he does. I walk into the guest bedroom I stay in. My suit was already laid on the bed.

I meet his gaze just as I grab my bikini. "I was going to wear the blue one." I say holding the pink one he set out.

"But the pink one is cuter" he says making his way toward me.

"Cuter huh?" I retort to his words.

"Cute as a button" he replies poking my nose with the tip of his finger.

I walk into the bathroom leaving the door open and inviting him to come.

He hesitantly follows me in. His eyes glued to the floor. I place my hand on his allowing him to look at me.

I take off my cami and place the strings around my abdomen. "Can you tie me?" I ask politely.

"YES, I mean yes" he responds, eagerly walking toward me and tying the strings.

I put on my bottoms and add my shorts on top. "I really like those shorts" Corbin repeats his words from earlier.

"You already said that" I whisper. He moves closer to me placing each hand on either side of my hips.

"And I'll say it again" he says ready to repeat himself but I silence him. I pushed my lips onto his.

He returns it, placing his hand on my neck he gently leaves a lasting kiss before pulling away.

I hear a car pull into the driveway. Taking his hand in mine I pull him down the stairs. We meet on the floor as the boys walk in.

"I'm here bitches" Vincent yells from the doorway, his hand waving in the air.

"Where's the beer?" Raven questions, ready to beat Draven's ass if it doesn't show up in the next 3 seconds.

"Right here" Kiera voices behind Vincent's tall frame.

"Oh thank god" Raven replies grabbing the beer and putting it on the counter. Grabbing one for each of the girls.

"Thank you madam" I say grabbing the beer from her hand.

"Are we going swimming or nah?" A very impatient Vincent asks.

"Someone needs to go blow up the pool toys" Mel responds.

"I volunteer" Draven says running to the pantry and grabbing his blow-up tool.

"So eager to blow up pool toys" Mel says following him outside.

Corbin walks to the counter grabbing himself a beer. I follow behind him, walking outside.

My ass almost hits the seat next to him when I'm yeeted onto his lap.

"Jeez, you could've just asked" I yelp out at him.

"Watching you fall on top of me was much more amusing" he sounds in my ear, creating goosebumps on my body.

"We are all getting so fucked up tonight" Vincent says as he cannonballs into the pool. Kiera sets a different case of beer down next to us. Meaning the first case is already gone.

Tonight is going to be a long one. Not that I'm upset about it I like partying when it's just my people. I chug my beer.

Placing it down next to me I grab another opening it on the side of the chair. Corbin pulls me back into his lap as if I'm not already close enough. I love that he's clingy.

"That's my girl" my man says as he watches me chug the second bottle, then a third.
