Destined for Love

Seventeen

We all went to our rooms last night as everyone was falling asleep through the last movie though no one wanted to admit it. We're now sitting in Rav's living room trying to come up with ideas of things to do today.

"Let's play hide and seek" Vincent's child ass suggests. "Isn't that for children?" Mel retorts. "Yea but hear me out, This house is gigantic it would be so challenging" he pleads his case.

"I guess it's not the worst idea" I agree. "Yes" Vincent physically pumps his fist in excitement.

Being I've been here so many times I know every inch of this house. I'm going to win. There are 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a beach house this is going to be so easy.

Vincent decides to spin a bottle to pick who seeks first. Each of us sits in a circle on the rug. "Spin already Vin" an anxious Mel squeals.

He does as told and spins the bottle. It spins around quickly 2 times before stopping on Draven.

"I live here so you fucks are toast" he grins and gestures to us. We agreed nothing is off limits so long as it's on the property.

Vincent makes Draven count to 40 "Mississippis" to give us time to hide well. We all run our separate ways.

I already knew where I was going to hide when Vin suggested it. The beach house. I quickly run out the brown French doors and straight passed the patio.

I quietly open the door making sure no one sees me walk in. There is a small couch on one side and a bunch of pool toys beside it. The obvious choice is behind the pool toys so I dip behind the couch instead.

Just as I get comfortable in my spot the door opens. I place my hand on my mouth to hold in my laughter. But instead of Draven, I see a certain fluffy-haired boy stride in.

He walks to the pool toys and I hear them swoosh around until he sits in the back almost next to me. Dumbass.

"What are you doing here?" I question him quietly. "Hiding" he responds and I just know he's smirking at his answer. "No shit, you're going to get me caught" I say.

"The only thing that would get you caught is you" he adds. "Shut up someone's coming" I hear footsteps on the concrete outside but instead of walking in they turn away.

"That was close and you are in the worst spot possible scoot over here. Please" I beg, my competitive side coming out.

He scoots closer to me sitting sideways so I still have room to sit. "Now be quiet" I order. "Yes ma'am" he whispers and turns toward my placing his hand to his head and saluting me. Weirdo.

It's been about 10 minutes by now and we finally hear footsteps. The door opens and in walks Draven. He searches the pool toys first.

Like I said he would. Then he searches behind the boogie boards and with a huff he walks back out.

"Told you he'd find you easy" I poke. "Oh shut up. I followed you in here to spend time with you nerd." He laughs.

"Right, so why'd you really come in here" I feel like he's joking. "Because I wanted to see you" he shifts his body and places his hand on my lap.

"We are going to be here forever" I try to change the subject to forget his hand is caressing my thigh. "I can make the time go by faster" he suggests.

"How so" I turn to look at him. "Kiss me" he says as his eyes wander to my lips and back up to eye level.
