EPILOGUE

"Tin, please, I'll be better 'wag mo naman akong iwan ng ganito, oh..." I tried to reach her but she refused. Kumirot ang puso ko sakaniyang ginawa.

"Ginamit lang kita." Natigilan ako sa kaniyang sinabi.

Para akong binagsakan doon. We met because I was starting in my career and I met her in the middle of it and I was happy. I was the happiest because I met her. Ayokong maniwala sakaniya. Alam kong hindi totoo 'yon.

"You're just joking please..." Umiling ako at ayaw parin maniwala. She shut her eyes like she's so tired of me.

I get it. My Mother doesn't like her for me. Pero hindi naman niya nakausap muli ang aking Ina pagkatapos no'ng ipinakilala ko siya dahil alam kong gano'n lang ulit ang gagawin niya.

"Hindi na kita mahal! I am suffocating! I am like chained in this hopeless relationship! Wala na 'tong patutunguhan, DJ! I liked you because you're DJ." Napalunok ako.

I didn't say anything. Pero wasak na wasak na ako doon palang.

"Pataas ka, eh. Yumayaman ka. Siyempre magugustuhan kita." She was even disgusted by the way she looks at me.

Kinagat ko ang aking labi at napapikit. I just let her speak. I was so fucking genuine with her. Bakit siya ganito sa akin ngayon?

"I didn't expect you to like me." Natawa pa siya like it was disappointing to remember.

Gusto ko na siyang tumigil. Gusto ko na siyang manahimik. Gusto kong sabihin na ayaw ko nang marinig ang mga susunod na sasabihin niya.

"Pero nagustuhan mo 'ko. I need to get my act straight lalo na't I benefit from you. You're a rising star after all."

She scoffed. "But when I met your Mother. Wala na palang lalala sa pamilyang 'to. I want to just fucking leave!" She shouted at me. Now her eyes full of anger that I have never seen before.

Natakot ako. Hindi na ako nakapagsalita. Kahit isang salita hindi ko na nagawa. I was just standing here waiting for her next sentences.

"Nag-usap kami ng Nanay mo." She admitted. Nanlaki ang dalawang mata ko.

"W-why didn't you t-tell me?" Tanong ko naman sakaniya. Masyado akong naging kampante.

Ngumisi siya. "Of course she doesn't want to. She threaten me!" She held her chest. "Your Mother threaten me if I didn't break up with you! Kaya ayaw ko na. Ayaw ko na rin naman na! Matagal na!" Sigaw niya sa akin.

Napahawak ako sa ulo dahil sa sakit. Tumalikod na siya sa akin. I am tired. I am tired of work. I am tired of rehearsals. Now Tin's leaving me. Saan pa ba ako lulugar?

"Maghiwalay na tayo." That was her last statement before she left me for good.

She flew to South Korea and never came back. I continue my course and my entertainment industry because that was she wanted for me. Atleast, 'yun nalang ang gagawin ko.

I succeed on entertainment industry and it's also my last year in Ateneo. At pagpapatuloy ko na ang pangarap na tinupad ko para sakaniya.

I enter this because it was for fun. Then when I met her in the middle of achieving it, I started to love it too.

"Santo!" Tawag ko kay Jacinto dahil pareho lang kami ng building pero lower level siya dahil matanda ako ng isang taon.

"Late ka nanaman." Naiiritang sabi nito at tumayo na. Ngumisi ako at inakbayan siya para makapasok na kami.
