I waited for hours to go to Victor’s room, I waited till the house had settled down and everyone went to bed, he was really secretive earlier about the room so I just assumed that he didn’t want many Lycan’s to know that I was going to his room to talk about the room opposite mine.

I knocked on his door, it took him a minuet to open the door, when he finally did, I had noticed that he had changed his clothes, earlier he was in light blue joggers and a white hoodie, now he was in nice black trousers and a black shirt with most of the buttons not done up, was this a formal meeting? Was I meant to dress up nice?

“Hello” “River, you came” “yeah, you asked me to come, you’re going to tell me about that room” “come in and we can talk”.

His room was quite dark, just a few candles lit around the room, “so, what's in that room?” “We have plenty of time to talk, we don't need to rush things, how about we get to know each other first” Victor said as he stood behind, his hands on my hips, pulling me back into him, “mmm, you smell really nice” he said sniffing my neck, just like Pasha said just before he tried to mount Opal.

I was restless all night, then the banging started, I got out of bed and opened my door, the noise was coming from the ‘monsters’ room, I walked over to the door, I was just about to knock when I heard a growl come from the other side of the door, it scared me, I raced back to my room, slammed the door, jumped on my bed and hid under my covers, I didn’t sleep a wink the rest of the night, now I understand why he said that a monster is in that room and why none of the other Lycan’s stay in this room, I was scared but I don’t want to give up this room, I really like this room, I don't want to give it up and share a room or even worse, have to leave and go back to my old pack.
