River's POV

I took the little pup Harvi from Koza and took Reed's hand but Asha didn't move, "you not wanting to come?" he just ignored me "so you don't want to see where we will be keeping the horses?" he quickly looked at me then looked away, "Asha, do not ignore the True Alpha's mate, its rude" "its ok Koza, it's a shame, I needed someone to help me with the horses, I will just have to find someone else, ok I'm just taking these two, see you all later, come on little ones, let's go to see the animal".

As I went to walk out the door, I felt something pull on my jacket, making me stop, "can I help you?" I said "I want to help with the horses" "sure, follow me".

As we walked towards the quad bikes and buggies we use to go to the farm, it's a bit far to walk, it's a good 25 - 30-minute walk, its only 10 minutes on the quad bikes, "can you please hold the pup so I can drive, its safe the way I will go, it's not rough" "no, I won't touch that thing" I was shocked, the way he spoke about his little brother, "that's not a nice thing to say" "that thing killed my mother" he shouted, making Reed cry, "your upsetting your brother, please can you hold him?" He just shook his head, "fine, then we will walk, it's going to take a while with little Reed walking" Asha picked Reed up and put him on his back, "lead the way".

It took 45 minutes at least to get to the farm, I showed the pups the animals, Reed was so happy to see the sheep, "where will the horses be kept?" "This way, there will 9 horses and 2 ponies coming tomorrow" I said as I started to walk towards the stables, "11? Wow, my pack only has 2" "you mean old pack, this is your new one" "I'm not going to stay here, I hate Koza and that thing, when I'm 18, I will go back to my pack and take Reed with me" "you know that's kidnapping, right?" "So, I'm still going to take him with me when I go".

I showed him where the horses will be, I had already got 5 of the stables ready for the horses, Brax had dropped some lunch to us, I'm glad I grabbed the pup's bag as I left the office, not that I actually know how to feed a pup, "I know this is a long shot but... can you help me feed Harvi?" "you're a female Lycan, figure it out" "why do you hate him so much?" "He killed my mother" Asha said it like it was a normal thing to say, "what? How can you say that? He is what? 5/6 months old, how could he of?" "She was told not to have anymore pup's after Reed was born as it could kill her but she wanted to give Koza a girl, then that thing came out and killed her" "then wouldn't it be your mothers fault for even getting pregnant in the first place" "it's not her fault, its that things fault" "I think you are being stupid, all of you lost your mother, not just you, just think, Harvi will never meet his mother, you have had 15 years with her, you had longer with your mother than I did with both my parents, I was only 5 when I lost mine" after I told him that, he didn't seem as angry at me for calling him stupid, he still didn't want to help me with Harvi, at least he helped with Reed, I had to call Huxley to ask to speak to Koza for him to tell me how to feed a little pup, I felt kind of stupid on how easy it was.

A few days past, the horses came on time, Asha helped me complete the rest of the stables, Asha spent most of his time with me and the horses.

We were out in the field feeding the horses and refilling their water, I've been feeling crappy all day, "have you thought of any names for the horses yet?" I let Asha pick a name for three of the horses and one of the ponies, "no, not yet? You, ok? You don't look very well, you look really pale" "I don't feel very well, after we have done this and refilled their stables, I'm going to call it a day".

We were in the last stable, Asha was putting the last of the clean straw down and I was filling the water, there was a new horse coming in the morning, it was a rescue from a shelter that didn't have the capability of looking after him, 'River, something is wrong, I think our heat is coming and fast' 'but Huxley hasn't said anything' I collapsed to the floor, "River, what happened? You, ok?" "Asha, I need you to go and tell Huxley to get here, fast" "can I not help you?" "No, I need Huxley" I shouted, making him jump, "ok, I will be as fast as I can" Asha said as he ran out the stable.

Once Asha left, the head flooded my body 'Opal, you still wanting to let Titan have this Heat?' 'I'm scared, really scared, I thought I would have gotten over my fear, its going to hurt? Isn't it? It's going to hurt lot' she said as she started to cry 'would you like me to tell them that you are not ready for Titan to have this heat?' 'No, I will keep my promise to Titan, maybe being in heat, it will be different and it won't hurt like before' Opal said trying to convince herself, I didn't say anything, I want to say that it will be all ok but with Titan, you just don't know.
