Huxley quickly stood up, he lifted me up just enough to unhook my make shift handcuffs, he stood me up on my shaky legs, my body was still feeling the effects of the orgasm, he took the belt off from around my wrists, the welts on them were I had pulled at the belt were deep and red, they didn’t hurt but they started to throb once the belt was removed, “do you want me to help you get dressed?” I didn’t answer him, I was just so mad, with him, with myself, I pushed him away from me, I put my underwear and trousers back on, as well as my shoes, Huxley just stood there, letting me get on with it.

I walked out the chicken feed room, Asha and Robin were stood waiting outside, “River wait” Huxley said grabbing a hold of my arm, “don’t fucking touch me, Asha, go fine Brax and ask him to help you feed the horses out in the field” “River” “Huxley, please leave me alone” “why? Because they caught us? Come on, they didn’t see much, my mouth was covering you up, down there” “STOP TALKING, you don’t know what they saw, don’t you feel a little bit embarrassed?” “no” he shook his head, “well I do, ASHA, go find Brax” I shouted, they both quickly ran off towards the cattle shed, he’s most likely in there, “River, don’t you think that’s a little harsh shouting at them” “Huxley, please just go back to the pack house, I need to calm down before I say something I will regret” Huxley called after me but I just walked away.

I cried for ages, how am I going to show my face in front of Asha and Robin? I found myself in the back cattle field, it was getting late, I needed to start making my way back to the pack house, it was a good hour walk back to the farm from here, it will be pitch black before I get home, I needed to head back as I’m meant to have Atlas and Pasha’s pup tonight, when I walked out the chicken feed room, I had left my phone behind so I couldn’t contact anyone, I could hear a quad bike approaching, I still didn’t want to see Huxley, but I also want a hug from him, his hugs always make me feel better.

I stood up, brushed the dirt off my trousers, I turned to see Asha on the quad bike, I really didn’t want to see him either, “here you are, I’ve been looking everywhere for you, I nearly missed you in the long grass” “sorry to make you worry” “would you like me to take you back to the pack house? Please say yes, it’s starting to get cold at night, I don’t want you out here in your state”, I just nodded and got on the back.

I held onto him as he set off back to the pack house, the only noise was of the quad bikes engine, “I didn’t see anything, I know what was happing but I didn’t see” he didn’t end it with an ‘I promise’ so I know he did see more then he was saying, “so, your telling me that you didn’t see my tits?” “Well, maybe I did see them” he laughed, “oh God, I’m so embarrassed, I don’t know what came over me” “Huxley did” Asha said laughing again, “Asha, I can’t believe you just said that, we didn’t have sex” “no, he just went down on you” “AHHH, ASHA STOP TALKING” I shouted as I covered my ears.

Asha and I got back to the pack house just after the sun set, we would have been there a little sooner, as we went past the farm, Brax and Tony were getting the horses in, so he helped, Brax said that there was a storm was on its way in the early hours of the morning.

We walked into the dining hall together, he went over to Robin and her family, I spotted Pasha at the back of the que, waiting to get some food, “Pasha, sorry I’m really late” I said as I joined him, “it’s ok, I heard that Huxley was… Erm… Hungry earlier” “he fucking told you, didn’t he? I can not believe him” “can not believe who?” Atlas said joining us to, I looked between them both then scanned the room, “where’s the pup?” I said, scanning the hall again, “what? Huxley has him” “Huxley?” “Yeah, he came and got him a few hours ago, he said that you were running late at the farm, he told me that you were cleaning the chicken feed room, was it a mess? Brax normally keeps it tidy” Atlas quizzed.

Huxley must have only told Pasha, who was standing there, trying not to laugh, “yeah, I knocked some feed over and I helped get the horses in, there’s a storm coming tonight” “oh no, are you sure it’s ok for you to still have Skoll? He has never heard a storm, I don’t know what he will be like” “yeah, its fine, we will be able to handle it, I better go and find them” “GUY, let River jump in, Huxley hasn’t eaten since this morning” “yeah, sure, this way” he said “no its fine” “Koza told us about the rule about the True Alpha, so please, come and grab our Ture Alpha’s food as well as your own, you are carrying our future True Alpha” Guy said, his words giving me a knot in my throat, “thank you very much” I grabbed a double portion for Huxley and a half portion for myself and went to fine Huxley and the pup.

I didn’t have to look far, they were fast asleep on top of the covers, I know sleeping in bed with a pup is dangerous, Koza told my when I did it and I’m only small, he would have a fit if he saw what is happening in this room, I put our food on the side table and as gently as I could, I got on the bed to, but with how careful I was, I still woke Huxley, “sorry, did I wake you?” “No, I wasn’t asleep, I was just resting my eyes” he said closing them again.
“I brought dinner up, I bet you are hungry” “I see you brought my snack from lunch time with you” he smiled with his eyes still closed, “come on Huxley, I know that you’re hungry, you haven’t eaten since you came to the farm with some lunch” he shook his head, “so wake up and get out of bed so you can eat” “dinner or can I have lunch again?” “Get out of this bloody bed”.
