As I was waiting for the toast to pop, was talking to myself calling myself a fucking idiot “why are you a fucking idiot this time?” Pasha said, I turned to see him standing at the door with some of the bags from the car, “River’s meds are in here, I thought she might need them as you were… going at pretty hard, is that why you are an idiot?” “I knotted in her, it just happened, I didn’t mean to, now she is worried that she might end up with a pup that she isn’t ready for” “wait a second” he flipped one of the bags down, unzipped it and rummaged for a second.

Atla not need it?” “No, not at the moment, we are trying for a pup” “congratulations” “thanks, I'm really excited, more excited than when Eve told me she was with pup” I put the pills in my pocket, I picked up River’s food and a drink, as I walked past Pasha I said “your pup will have my blessing, girl or boy, Alpha, Beta or Omega” I picked up River’s bag and struggled up the stairs.

I put everything in the room we are staying in, I set out all of her tablets, including Atlas’s birth control, I grabbed some PJs for her, putting them on the bed ready for her before heading to the bathroom.

I walked into the bathroom just in time as River was just nodding off in the bathtub, “no, no, no, no sleeping in the bath, that’s dangerous, you could drown” “but its so warm, it’s making me sleepy” “or it could be the mind-blowing sex we just had could be why you are tired? I helped River out the bath, I dried her off a little before finding the biggest towel, wrapping it around her, picking her up and carrying he to the bedroom.

I helped River put her PJs on, she could barely stand, her legs were shaking like she was cold, she sat on the bed and I gave her, her food, she didn’t eat it all, she was so tired, “here, your meds” I said handing them to her with a full bottle of water, “what's the orange one?” “Oh yeah, Pasha gave it to me, I told him that I knotted in you and that you were worried about being with pup, that’s Atlas’s birth control, they don’t need it, you should make an appointment with DR Shelley for your own birth control” she excepted what I told her and took all the pills with no more questions asked, she handed me the bottle as she laid down in bed, I tucked her in, “you not coming to bed?” “No, not yet my sweet, I made a bit of a mess in the kitchen, I cannot just leave it like that, it would be rude of me” I looked down at River, she was already drifting off to sleep, I don’t think she even heard what I said to her.
