She finally come down for breakfast, Monday morning, River came into the office, “its nice to see you down stairs” I said getting up from my chair, giving her hug, she actually hugged me back, I woukd hug her in bed but it felt like she didn't want it and just wanted to sleep, “I can’t be sad the whole time, life goes on, when is the meeting with Brax about the farm?” “Later, first, breakfast, I also made you an appointment with DR Shelley it’s at 10:45” “oh. Yeah, thanks”.

I drover her to DR Shelley’s, just the two of us, not going to lie, I was nervous as hell but we got there in one piece and with three minutes to spare.

I wanted to wait outside but River wanted me to go with her, DR Shelley Wasn't happy to see me in her office.

“What brings you here?” she said looking over at River, River looked up at me, I could tell she wanted me to tell her, “River would like to go onto birth control, I… Knotted in her a few nights ago” “what? How could you? She is still healing” “I didn’t do it on purpose, we are in no rush to have pup’s just yet” “River, have you taken a pregnancy test yet?” River just shook her head, “Pasha gave me Atlas’s birth control to try to help” “ok, I know what ones she on, they would be the ones I will be putting you on but first, a pregnancy test”.

The test was negative, deep down, I was a little gutted that it came back negative, but River and I are not in the right state to bring a pup into this world at the moment.

After River’s appointment, I took River out to lunch and the little cake shop that I know she likes, we got Atlas a cake also while we wait for her prescription is ready.

We also popped into Crush to see RJ, I wanted to tell him that his room was ready, I had asked the builders to concentrate on his room so he could move in sooner rather than later, I didn’t like the feeling that one of my pack members wasn’t living with the pack, under my protection he was so far out, I couldn't get to him in time if he needed help.

I was talking to RJ as Petra as with River, looking over at them, River looked embarrassed for some reason, her cheeks bright red, “River, you, ok?” “Yeah, I'm fine” “so what brings you down here Mr Alpha Huxley? Looking for something to spice up your sex life?” “We defiantly don’t need that” River said shyly, I couldn’t help the smirk on my face, knowing what she is talking about, “I'm glad that he satisfies you, so what does bring you here?” “I wanted to left RJ know he can move into the new pack house as of today and to cheek up on the repairs”.

We went out shopping for some clothes that River wanted, she also wanted to get Brax a present, she wanted to make a good impression as they would be working together from now on, before getting her birth control and heading back to the pack house to officially meeting Brax.

River wanted to meet Brax out where the farm would be located, she wanted to go there as when I was telling her about it but she couldn’t visualize it.

The two of them got on so well, Brax is one of the oldest Lycan's in the pack but has only been in the pack a few years, he said that he brought up the farm idea to Victor but it got shot down instantly.

They were talking in their own farming language, Pasha had to translate it for me, “look at her, she looks so happy talking about the farm” “she has always been like that, ever since I've known her, she loves animals and looking after them” “wow, that’s a fantastic idea” we heard Brax say, “what's a good idea?” I shouted.

They walked over to us and Brax said “River suggested that we make a retreat” “a what?” I said confused, “a retreat, it’s a cabin that can be rented out to people or Lycan’s, it’s a way to experience being farmers, it will create more income” “and you think this will yield results?” “oh yeah, it will, she probably got the idea form our old pack, there was one there, Alpha Leo only did it for a few weeks a year and he got a ton of money for it” Pasha answered “ball park figure?”  “The biggest one that I remember was for 8 people for 4 nights, he got 10 grand for it” “WHAT? No way, what did he provide them for it?” “Just a cabin, no food, they had to provide it themselves, that’s a lie, they could have as many eggs as they wanted as long as they got them themselves, they would work on the farm from 4am to 8pm with two brakes of an hour, its called team building, people pay stupid amounts of money for this” “ok, so, let me see if I've got this right, people pay us thousands for them to work on our farm, for free? All we provide them is somewhere to stay, give them no food apart from eggs?” “that’s right, its free labour" Pasha laughed, “ok, lets build the farm first then we can build the River retreat” “River?” She said confused, “yeah, well it was your idea” I said giving her a kiss, she wrapped her arms around me, "I'm so excited, I can't believe we are getting a farm" "anything for you my beautiful mate".

River and Brax started talking in there farming language again and Pasha translated.
