As many times I told Titan to be gentle with Opal, he couldn’t stop himself, he hurt her, she was crying in pain but she kept telling him to keep going, her cries echoed in my head, it was driving me crazy, to the point I was going to try to force a shift, I know it will be painful for Titan but I didn’t care at this point, I couldn’t cope with her cries, River reassured me that everything will be ok.

They mated twice, the second time, Titan knotted in her, what made it more painful for her, luckily Opal can’t get pregnant in wolf form, the only way to try for a pup is in human form and I knot in her, that’s how I also knew that the pup that Nisa was carrying wasn’t mine, I hadn’t knotted in her for a while, if you are in a rut and they are in heat then you knot inside her, that’s almost guaranteed a pup.

Once he could finally pullout of her, she crumpled to the ground, shaking, Titan laid next to her, Opal and River were both crying, ‘look what you have done Titan, you have hurt the one you love’ ‘but she said to keep going’ he said defensive, ‘yeah, she did to make you happy, look at what your happiness cost? She is in pain, more than before’ he looked at Opal, crying as she cleaned herself.

‘What are you going to do now Titan? You’re not going to run away like before, are you?’ I said harshly, ‘please don’t be mad at him, I was the one that asked for this’ ‘but he hurt you, he needs to be told or he will keep hurting you, he needs to learn from his mistakes’.

Titan crawled closer to Opal and started to help clean her up, she protested but he continued, so he should help, I clean River up when we had sex, or when she passed out after I went down on her, before we mated.

It took a few painful attempts for Opal to shift back but finally River emerged, she ran into my arms, I know I was squeezing her to tight but I just didn’t want to let he go, “I've missed you” I whispered as I squeezed a little bit more, “not, so, tight” I let her go reluctantly “I thought my lungs were going to pop” she joked, I can’t express how much I've missed her this week that she has been in wolf form, “can you please give me your top, I'm completely naked and I'm cold” “but I like to see you naked” she cuddled up to me and whispered “please, I really want to go home, wash and get some clothes on, I want to go to bed and rest, what just happened was a little much for me, hearing her cry like that” I quickly took my top off and helped her put it on, there were marks on Rivers neck where Titan had bit Opal, the skin wasn’t broken but the red marks were vivid, the top was way too big for her.

River tried to walk back but she was so unsteady on her feet, I scooped her up and carried her, Titan had taken Opal deep in the wood to mate with her, probably knowing that he couldn’t hold back and he didn’t want anyone to hear Opal’s cries.

As I approached the pack house with a sleeping River, I could see Petra and RJ, I don’t need another slap around the face, I had forgotten that I had told RJ to come to the pack house to be accepted into this pack, “what happened? What did you do this time?” “May I remind you who you are talking to, if you slap me again, you will be out this pack in a shot, for your information, this is her first shift back from her broken leg, it took her longer to shift and she is in a lot of pain, Petra, please take RJ to my office, once I've got her settled then I will be there”.

I continued to our room, ‘thanks for not telling her what I did’ ‘I don’t want to hear it’, I was still so mad with him, I didn’t want to hear his voice.

I laid her down in bed, I know she wanted a shower when she got home but I didn’t want to wake her, but she still woke up “sorry to wake you, go back to sleep” “hug me, I'm cold” “I need to go and talk to Petra and RJ, he's going to be joining us” “that will be nice” she mumbled as she turned over, I tucked her in, I also put another blanket over her, kissed her head then left for my office.

Petra and RJ were waiting outside my office, “you may go in”, they walked in and waited to sit down until I had sat sown, its proper etiquette to wait till the True Alpha sits, the only rule that I don’t keep is eating, no one is meant to eat before me, but even my father didn’t implement it.

“So, RJ, is that your given name or is it just a nick name?” “my actual name is Richard James Mc Corly, after I was kicked out, that’s when I started to go be RJ, Richard James was my fathers and grandfathers names, its tradition that the first born takes their names” “you may if you like, you can change your name before entering this pack, I'm not sure how many Lycans know your name” “thank you for the offer but even though they kicked me out for being gay, I still love them and would like to keep apart of them with me” “that’s nice, I would have changed my name in a heartbeat” Petra said “it is your choice, age?
