"I've been thinking. You're good at theoretic stuff, right?" Siren nodded.

"I guess so. At the very least I'm the one in charge of our strategies in SOS-5." She added calmly, as she drew her iconic sun on the first page of my textbook.

"The thing is, when it comes to math, you always use the same structure to solve the questions. We could use that to our advantage. It's not that we're not getting anywhere because you're stupid. It's because I tried to teach you how I study, instead of finding out what study method is the best for you."

Siren raised an eyebrow. Her dead brown eyes stared right into my soul. What was she thinking? She blinked once. She blinked twice. She put the pencil down. She sighed.

"I hate to admit it but that doesn't actually sound like bullshit at all."

Luckily she agreed with my idea. I had been so damn tired, since I did not sleep at all the night before. I was busy looking up every study method there was on the internet until I found one that was suitable for her. If that was not going to work, nothing would.

However, I was not the only one that had made plans. Siren had been thinking about how she could help me out with Seeker as well. In the end she had decided that there had been only one solution. Siren was going to play together with me.

"Isn't that dangerous? If anyone realises that you're playing with me, they might find out about your true identity."

"Calm down, it's my second account. Nobody will have a fucking clue that it's me."

"Your second account?"

"Well yeah. Everyone in SOS-5 has a second account." She rolled her eyes.

I was frightened and surprised at the same time, when Siren showed me the account on her phone. It was an average account with average statistics. The heroes she played surprisingly differed from the ones she usually played on her first account. These heroes were more common for Sam than for her.

"I didn't think you'd have a second account. Don't you hate Seeker?" I asked absentmindedly, as I added her to my team and started a round. The timer started ticking. About ten seconds in we found a match.

"I don't particularly hate Seeker. It's true that I have lost interest in it, since I can only see it as my job nowadays but that doesn't mean that I despise it. Same goes for you, doesn't it? Oh, don't choose Cherry. They already have a Carl. Carl can counter Cherry with his second skill."

"What do you mean? I don't hate Seeker either." I asked confusedly. Since Siren told me to not pick Cherry, I had no other choice but to pick Alan. His play style was similar to Cherry's and since I did not play any other Throwers besides Cherry, Alan had become my go-to pick.

"I wasn't talking about Seeker. I was talking about that violin you're keeping hidden on your drawer."

How did she even know about it? Was she not too short to see the top of the drawer? Besides, if she noticed the violin, did this mean that she knew the truth? I never imagined Siren to be interested in classical music. Guess I was wrong after all.

"Do you know about my mother?"

"Your mother? Why the fucking hell should I know anything about your mother?! I wish I wouldn't even have to know you!"

"Come on now, just stop pretending. You wouldn't have asked about the violin otherwise. Elisabeth Wood? I know that rings a bell."

I had been so focused on my discussion with Siren that I could not concentrate on the game. In the first two minutes after the game started, I already died. Of course that made Siren mad. She started nagging me that I should try to stay alive for as long as possible, while playing a Thrower.  When she had to run all across the map just to protect me, her unsurvivable nagging turned into critical blaming. At the very least she forgot to talk about my mother or at least I had hoped so.

For the rest of the game Siren tried to stay away from as much as possible. Only when she saw an opportunity or when my survival became necessary for our victory, she interacted with me. In the end, due to Siren's experience, we won. I could not believe it. I just played a round of Seeker with Siren and we won it.

"Now then, to come back to our conversation. I don't care what the name of your mother is! I don't fucking now her!"

Siren caught me by surprise. I had not expected her to suddenly start shouting at me. However, despite being frightened to death, I was yet grateful. It is hard to put in words but when Siren told me that she did not know my mother, my gut feeling told me to believe her.

Usually I was expecting people to lie to gain my sympathy but with Siren it was different. She had no reason to lie to me because she did not want anything to do with me. In an unusual way she had become the one person in this world that I trusted the most.

"Whatever. How about a second round? This time I'll try not to feed." I proposed in hopes of changing the topic. Luckily Siren did not feel like arguing anymore. She nodded and we started a second round. We chose the same heroes but this time I did not die in the first two minutes. After twenty minutes we won. I smiled joyfully. Why did I smile like this?

Siren acted differently as well. She lay against the wall, closing her eyes and exhaling a deep breath. I glance over my shoulder as my eyes bounced between my phone screen and her while she began eating one of my brownies. Slowly I began strolling towards her before eventually I pressed my hand against the wall next to her head. I carefully tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, which had been annoying me. It took away the beauty of her entire face.

"What's wrong? Why are you looking at me like this?", she asked.

"How could I resist looking at such a beautiful woman?"

I grabbed her hand and let her feed me the rest of the brownie. At first I kept the brownie between my teeth, staring deeply at her eyes, before I actually took a bite. The sweet taste of the chocolate instantly exploded on my tongue.

Slowly and gently I licked her fingers clean from the rest of the chocolate. Sometimes I kept her fingers between my lips, enjoying their salty taste. Her cheeks never flushed. To be honest, her expression never really changed. It did get a little softer but that was it.

"I'll stab your eye with these fingers."

"You sure?" I began slightly biting her middle finger. Still, no reaction. She just stared at me. Her dead eyes sent shivers down my spine. I let loose of her finger but she did not pull it away instantly. Instead it slowly made its way down my chin, over my neck until it rested right on my chest. I could feel the wetness of her finger all the way. My skin tingled.
