Chapter 32

Khalil Nathan Salazar's POV

I haven't moved on yet but I'll never show that I'm still affected about the situation a month ago.

Hindi ganun si Flow. I know she's lying. Masakit man ang sinabi niya, hindi ko pinaniwalaan iyon dahil kilala ko siya, she loves me.

Hangga't dito pa ako nagtatrabaho sa DV Corp for the mean time, I'll try to find out what's the exact reason why she break up with me.

Ayaw sana ni Mommy na magtrabaho pa ako dito sa Makati dahil dadalhin niya raw ako pauwing Singapore. Kind of strange but I insisted that I'll stay here dahil may tatapusin pa akong project. Umuna na siyang lumuwas habang ako naman ay naiwan rito.

Today is the first day of my job. I quickly went to her office and as expected, she's right there sitting while holding some papers.

"Good morning Ms. De Valle." I formally uttered. I feel a little bit of tension between us.

She stared at me for a moment and took some papers from her drawer.

"Here's the overall plan of the new building." she seriously said while handling me those papers. "Maximum of 15 floors and 550 rooms. Our construction company will build a very luxurious suite for the whole Makati."

"It'll take a couple of months to complete, Ms. De Valle." I muttered while facing the papers she just gave me.

"Yeah so we'll make sure that we'll finish it immediately." Bakit parang ang seryoso niya?

Biglang may pumasok na grupo ng mga lalaki na may dalang isang mahabang mesa, papel na sa tingin ko ay para sa paggawa ng plates, computer, at iba pang mga devices.

In-arrange nila ito para magmukhang kaaya-aya at hindi kalat tingnan. It took them 5 minutes to finish arranging.

"Thank you." ani Flow sa mga lalaki.

She faced me once again without any emotions in her face.

"This is your working table...for the mean time." she started. "Your own office was under construction so... You'll stay here."

Is she doing it in purpose or not? Trabaho lang to diba? Trabaho lang to, wag kang magassume.

Masyado na akong assuming. Stop the crap, Khalil.

"Okay." tipid na sagot ko. Bago naupo sa bagong table ko.

This seems to be so perfect. It matches the color I want. Itim ang kulay ng table at mayroon pang drawers na pwede paglagyan ng mga gamit.

"Thanks." sambit ko, just thanking her about the table.

"The company gave you that. Not me." malamig na sagot nito. Ay hindi pala?

I quietly work on the computer. Uso na sa panahon ngayon ang digital architecture kaya hindi na kailangang maghirap pa sa pagguhit.

I can feel in my peripheral visions that she's staring at me time to time. But I didn't even took even a single glance at her.

The moment I've moved my head towards her table, she's gone. Lumabas na pala, baka may isinasikaso.

Naglakad-lakad muna ako sa office, just feeling the moment. Patingin-tingin sa mga gamit na nandito.

I opened the door behind her table and I found a room. Not just a room but a small living room with a 42 inches TV, and a cuisine. So she's living here?

Out of curiosity, pumasok ako roon. Mayroon pa palang isang pinto kaya binuksan ko ito. Is this her bedroom?

Her bedroom was filled with dark paintings. It looks really sad here. Halos ang mga appliances rin ay itim. But there's only one thing that didn't match the aesthetic of this room.

"Bakit nasa kanya pa to?" mahina akong natawa habang hawak-hawak ang pink na teddy bear na binigay ko sa kanya sa arcade.

No! No! No!  Nag-aassume na naman ako. Syempre ik-keep niya yan kesa itapon. Pero diba itapon kapag wala namang sentimental value? Ahh basta wag assuming Khalil!!!

I quickly came out of the room, baka maabutan pa ako ni Flow dito. Saktong pag-upo ko sa silya ay siya ring pagbabalik niya.

Inayos ko ang pagkakaupo ko kahit naiilang ako sa presensya niya.

Someone knocked at the door.

"Hi Austin!" nagagalak na aniya.

"Hi Ms. Avanza- I mean Ms. De Valle rather." he chuckled a bit and switches his gaze upon me. "Oh hello there Mr. Khalil, I didn't expect that you're here."

I bowed down to show respect to the visitor... Or maybe not?

"I need workers for the renovation of AG Arena... You know? Yung sa tournament?" he smiled at her.

"Okay okay I'll ask my employees about it. They'll follow up you afterwards." her smile became so wide.

Bakit personal niya pang kinita si Flow? Pwede namang magrequest sa mga staff diba? Besides, he's already a billionaire right? So pwedeng mag-utos nalang siya sa mga tauhan niya.

I keep glaring at them. They seems to be so happy talking to each other. I'm a little bit jealous.

I see that they're laughing together. Really? Right in front of me!?

Wag kang magselos

Tapang to noh?

Hinding-hindi magseselos ang astig na kagaya ko.

"You're so funny." natatawang saad ni Austin habang kakwentuhan si Flow.

I pretend to have something on my throat so I coughed hardly so that they'll be distracted for a bit.

Pansin nila ang pag-ubo ko pero patuloy parin sila sa pag-uusap. Bakit dito pa talaga?

Kailan ba matapos yung renovation ng office ko at para makalipat na ako dito. Para di ko rin makita ang mga ganitong pangyayari.

I'm so affected urgh!

I had to leave this room or I'll lose my temper. Baka di ako makapagpigil.

Tumayo ako at akmang lalabas ng room when suddenly.

"Where are you going?" makahulugang tanong ni Air- I mean Flow.

"I had to do something." I breathed a sigh and went out of the room.

Seeing them laughing and talking to each other irritates me. Why???

Fine I'm jealous. I hate that guy. He's getting into my nerves.

Napasinghap ako at padabog na naglakad-lakad kahit saan habang hinihintay na lumabas ang Austin na yon sa office.

Ba't ang tagal?

Nawawalan na ako ng pasensya ha!

Kailangan ko pa bang bumalik para umalis yung taong yon??

Bumalik ako sa office at di pa rin sila tapos mag-usap. Ano ba!

"We've been waiting for you, Mr. Salazar. Tagal mo namang tapusin yung gawain mo." pilyong saad ni Austin. Why he's being so... Annoying??

"Oh, my bad... Why?"

"You'll be helping Mr. Camino to the renovation. I'm sure you're capable of helping him." Flow said while crossing her arms.

Bakit ako pa talaga?

Di ko pwedeng tanggihan to.

Flow might be furious.

"Okay, I'm on it." tipid kong sagot bago napaupo.

Why do I have to work for that guy???
