Damian

"Angels don't sin." Rachel said through our air pods after fifteen minutes of searching. I sighed as I couldn't help but agree with her.

Who was I kidding? Look for an angel that seems different than the rest because they may have sinned? This plan was a disaster from the start.

"Something else does though." Oliver said making me feel a sense of hope and intrigue simultaneously.
"What?" Chase asked.
"The neutral one. They're neither a devil or an angel." Oliver explained.

I frowned then tugged on my air pod as though I were strangling him.
"And you're only bringing this up now?" I asked.
"Truthfully, I wanted you to have your time to shine boss, but simultaneously I had my fair suspicions that the culprit was an angel." Oliver explained.

"But they don't sin." Chase said then sighed.
"Though, Damian you were onto something. I couldn't help but notice something strange about this place. It's not as sparkly as I remember." Rachel said.

"Meaning?" Chase asked.
"The neutral one is hiding here." Oliver replied.
"Huh?" I asked.
"Their energy is affecting the other side. It isn't as strong as it was because the two are clashing. Since the neutral one is a mixture of both it is slowly destroying the other prime energy." Oliver explained.

"Oliver, are you high?" Chase asked.
"What kind of question is that?" Oliver asked and I imagined him pouting. "I can be smart if I want to Chase."

"I think Chase is mostly concerned about is how do you know all this information Oliver." Rachel said.
"And why didn't you bring it up before?" I added. "Like how sure are you of this information?" I asked.

"There was a book in the library that Brycen used to keep. Whenever I was high I always read it out of boredom because my best friend was too busy being better instead of hanging out with me." Oliver explained almost in a whine.

I imagined Chase rolling his eyes while I heard Rachel sigh.
"Oliver, now is not the time. Tell us more about the neutral one." I said.

"They used to be an angel once and they had an obsession with Lucifer. However, an angel and a devil cannot be together, and plus Lucifer didn't even like them." Oliver explained.
"Can you be a little more concise Oliver?" Rachel asked after a sigh. "We don't have a lot of time."

"Oh right. One day the angel wanted to prove to Lucifer that they can be evil and so they murdered their humans in their groups. It has been said that if an angel doesn't have faith and love for their Creators then they can sin. From birth that angel was told to be different, but heaven wanted to give them a chance." Oliver explained.

"But they fucked up." I said.
"Yeah." Oliver said. "What they did was too sinful that not even hell wanted them because murdering a human is against the policy for both sides. Though, what they did made them develop devil's energy as well. Reason why, they're called neutral one."

I wrinkled my eyebrows as the wind began to pick up suddenly.
"Well, that's strange." I whispered to myself.
"They come in a form of a heavy wind then engulf you to take you to another place." Oliver explained.

My heart sank as the wind picked up again.
"You really have the worst timing to explain stuff Oliver." I hissed. My breath hitched up in my throat when I saw grey smoke morph out of nowhere.

A sinister face was formed amidst the smoke. I gulped, but before I could tell the others to come over for help I was already falling deep in some strange place in a blink of an eye while screaming for my life.

💀

Chase

"You really have the worst timing to explain stuff Oliver." Damian said. I wrinkled my eyebrows then opened my mouth to question what he meant till I heard him screaming.

My heart dropped.
"It got him." Rachel said.
"We have to go after it." I said immediately without much thought.
"What?" Oliver cried. "Against the neutral one? Chase, we'll all die if we go after them."

Besides that...
"What are you devils doing here?" Matthew asked behind me. Fuck.

------------------------

The angel paced up and down after we explained our story. The three of us were inside a cell that was smeared with holy energy. Which meant that if we touched it we were going to experience the worst pain ever.

Matthew looked like he was considering our story, but because of our nature he was still hesitant.

"I know about the neutral one too." He said stopping on his pacing trance then turned to us. "But that still doesn't explain why you're all here." I inhaled softly.

"Damian, the human who murdered Brycen had a suspicion that an angel was the one who almost destroyed heaven years after Lucifer was banished. However, we quickly learnt that the neutral one is here and it got Damian. Let us go so we can get him back before that thing kills him. He can't rule hell for an eternity." I explained.

Matthew lowered his eyes.
"No. I can't." He then turned to us and shrugged. "I don't want to at least." I narrowed my eyes and felt my blood boil.

"You." Lucifer appeared out of nowhere then punched Matthew while the three of us just watched him in disbelief. Meanwhile, his brother freed us.
"You three are next." He warned.

Matthew held his bruising cheek then turned to the first devil with anger brewing in his eyes, but he quickly looked faint when he saw the first angel.
"Christopher?" He anxiously asked (A/N: Don't want to use his actual name because I don't want to upset anyone).

"Just what the heck has been going on?" Lucifer asked. "Do you know how long my brother and I were trapped in that ridiculous island sending doves and crows but nobody responded?"

"I almost hurt him. I don't want to be alone with him anymore." Christopher said. Lucifer rolled his eyes.
"And you think I want to?" He asked turning to him.

"What happened to the council members who were searching for you in the life resort?" I asked making everyone turn to me.

"The life resort?" Christopher echoed in disbelief. "Just like my brother said, we were trapped in some island for years. There is no such thing that you speak of."

"And so I heard that you stole my throne in my absence." Lucifer said turning to the three of us with a death glare.
"There was a competition..." Rachel began but her voice quickly trailed off as we were still stunned by what we discovered.

A/N: It's confusing. I know, but please give it a chance. It will make sense soon. I promise.

Also, the neutral one thing is a reference from the series Angel's friends. I don't recommend you watching it but if you want you can check it out on YouTube.
