Damian
I stepped inside the house where I found Felicity and Dad laughing at something while cooking together.
They both stopped when they saw me.
"Damian, hey. How are you kiddo?" Felicity asked knowing that will make me roll my eyes and retort with something else, but I couldn't now.Upon realizing this Felicity wrinkled her eyebrows and immediately knew that something was wrong.
"We went to church today and I don't remember having that much fun in ages." Dad said but he also noticed that something was wrong."Damian, are you okay?" He asked. I couldn't find any emotion within me to react. Usually I would have felt anger and resentment towards him, but now I felt nothing.
It felt like torture wishing to feel but being successful to only feel nothing.
"It's not your business." I said turning to Dad who widened his eyes in shock. I didn't stay around for long as I went up to my room.
I closed the door and paced around. Why was I expecting him to like me when he was a devil? Why did I want to cry over him?
I climbed on my bed and held my pillow then put my head against it feeling nothing at all but emptiness. My heart beating was the only factor that assured me that I was still alive despite feeling incomplete.

I arrived at school early because I couldn't find the joy of being late nor could I find the infuriation of attending. A few people turned to me in disbelief but I remained quiet because I didn't have the strength to entertain them.
"Is that Damian?" I heard a few people murmur.
"Yeah. It is him." A voice replied.
"Why is he early?" Another voice asked.
"Maybe he has a cool trick up his sleeve or something." The previous voice replied.I sighed softly while closing my eyes as I made my way inside class. The bell rang and momentarily everyone else walked inside. Poor Mister Johnson almost had a heart attack when he saw me already on my seat.
As he widened his eyes in shock I quietly took out my books while ignoring the other glares from everyone else.
"Good morning year twelve." Mister Johnson said then took one quick glance towards me as though waiting for something else to happen."Alright, let's do some trigonometry problems today." The Math teacher said looking away and turned to the rest of the class.
After a few more hours the bell now rang for recess. I found Gabriella standing outside the front yard of school. I inhaled softly then approached her.
She immediately frowned upon my arrival.
"What do you want?" She asked. "You're acting strange today. Is this another trick or something?" She gasped when I took out a bouquet of flowers. White lilies which were her favourite. "Damian..." She began but was speechless.I noticed a crowd forming around us. Great. I took a deep breath then turned to Gabriella who was looking at me with her eyes widened in shock.
"I am an idiot, a fool who didn't know what love was till..." I paused and took another deep breath.
"You're an amazing woman Gabriella and any man will be lucky to have you. Just not me. I am not friend material. Let alone boyfriend material. You deserve someone who is. I'm sorry for embarrassing you that day and I hope one day you can forgive me." I explained then gave her the flowers before walking away.

Chase
Lucifer was able to separate ownership from Damian's soul and he now was the prince of hell just like things were supposed to be.
Matthew advised him to let me hold onto Damian's soul for some strange reason. However, I couldn't find it within me to argue.
One thousand and two souls. Usually, I would have felt proud but every time my eyes went to Damian's soul I always began to tear up and break down. Why? I had no idea.
I missed him – terribly. A lot more than I wanted to admit. It had been two months after he gave me his soul and every day since then I felt miserable. Not even in a good way either.
"You miss him, don't you?" Rachel asked walking inside my small office after she caught me looking at Damian's soul.
"No." I replied looking away to wipe a tear."You're a horrible liar for a devil Chase." She said with a light chuckle. "Bianca is locked up in a room. What do you want me to do with her?"
"Nothing. It won't fix anything Rachel." I said."Maybe." She said. "You know, they say that only love can hurt like this." I widened my eyes in shock. She chuckled softly then playfully nudged my shoulder.
"You can be so dense sometimes. Anyway, I will ruin Bianca's pretty face while you try to make sense of your feelings." She said before stepping out the office. Did I love him? Was that it? I turned to his soul and bit my bottom lip.
