Finding the location was a bit of a struggle but we succeeded. We scrutinized the abandoned black warehouse where according to the app was Damian.

"We need a plan." Matthew said. The two devils and I exchanged glances wishing to argue but he had a point. We couldn't just go barging in without a plan against the neutral one.
"Okay. What are you thinking?" I asked.

Matthew looked taken aback but he quickly recovered and cleared his throat.
"One of us has to stay behind to check for dangers and look for Damian outside. If my intuition is correct then the neutral one may have taken away his phone." He explained.

I lowered my eyes while Rachel nodded quietly.
"That could be a possibility." She said while tying her black hair into a ponytail.

"Yes. The rest of us should infiltrate the building but I will use my doves to help us look for Damian inside should he be there." Matthew explained.
"We should probably split up too." Oliver said.

"Although, I am not very keen on that idea because we don't know exactly what we're dealing with, but we have to make haste in this mission." I said.

"Oliver, stay behind and look around the warehouse from the outside. Rachel, you're going to search the bottom and I'm going to search the top." I instructed turning to them.

"Wait. What do I have to do?" Matthew asked.
"You take the roof, but you can use your doves anywhere you want around the warehouse." I explained. The angel looked taken aback again. It took him a while to recover and nod. "Alright, let's move." I said.

However, before we could do our agreed plan Malcolm ran towards us covered in blood and he was beaten up.
"... What..." Matthew began but his voice trailed off from the horrific sight of the devil.

Malcolm panted heavily and was taking his time to collect his breath before attempting to explain.
"Damian...he...he...has..." He paused again while we were beginning to feel anxious.

In one motion I grabbed his shoulders.
"What happened? Talk to us. What happened to Damian?" I asked. Malcolm sucked in a breath then lowered his eyes.
"He has formed an alliance with the neutral one." He replied. I widened my eyes in shock then backed away from him in disbelief.

Rachel shook her head.
"That's bullshit." She said. "Damian would never betray us like that."
"Yeah. He didn't work this hard only to betray us later. You're speaking nonsense." Oliver said.

"I'm not. This was all a plan from the start. Damian will rule hell and give the neutral one equal power." Malcolm explained.

"And just how the fuck do you know all this?" I asked turning to him.
"Because the neutral one is his best friend, Benjamin." Malcolm replied. We all stared at him in disbelief.

Damian

"You will not fucking get away with this!" I hissed while he was using his telekinesis powers to throw me inside a cage.
"Oh but I just did." Benjamin said. I flinched when the gate was closed shut then he walked away.

I bit my bottom lip then looked around the cage. Though, the poison was kicking in hard. I held my stomach with one arm while my other hand I held onto the cage.

"I have to get out of here." I hissed under my breath then turned to the lock on the cage. I held onto it to examine it. Clearly, it was going to be difficult to just yank it out because it was securely locked. Then what do I do?

A pain in my stomach distracted me from my plans of escape. My arm tightened around my stomach as I began to cough out some blood again.

"Is this how I am going to die God?" I asked then chuckled dryly while closing my eyes as the place was beginning to spin. "This is pretty fucked up. Even for you." I slowly opened my eyes to see my surroundings all a blur.

However, I noticed that I wasn't the only one inside the cage anymore. I widened my eyes in shock as she smiled warmly at me. It was in that moment did I realize that I almost forgot how warm her smile was.

"Don't speak like that to God young man. Have some respect." She admonished me like usual. I continued to stare at her speechless. "I know you feel forsaken and alone right now but you're not. He's always protecting you. I am too." She said.

She stepped forward then brushed back my hair before kissing my temples. "I love you Damian. Never forget that and I'm very proud of you." She began to fade and that was when I reached out to grab her.

"Wait. Mom, don't leave me." I said but it was too late and I was alone again – but one glance at the floor I remembered that I wasn't actually alone. Tears welled up in my eyes as I bent down to pick up a loose screw.

Growing up I always sneaked out the house by breaking the locks with a screw because Dad guarded the keys with his life. "Thank you." I said then attempted to break the lock. There was still hope.

"He lied to you all." Malcolm concluded on his explanation. I clenched my hands into fists feeling angered by the betrayal.

I knew that deep down I shouldn't have trusted the human, but I never once listened to my gut to look more into him. Had I did then perhaps that whole situation could have been avoided.

"Chase?" Oliver called. I inhaled softly then lowered my eyes.
"Change of plans. We kill the neutral one but Damian will be detained." I said then looked up feeling rage burn my heart.
