"But why can't you come with me?" I pleaded, looking into his eyes. "We can be together again, like before."
His eyes softened, filled with a sadness that matched mine. "I wish I could, but my place is here now. You have to go back, live your life. I'll always be with you, even if you can't see me."
I shook my head, refusing to accept it. "No, you're not gone. You're here, and I'm not leaving without you."
He gently lifted my chin, making me look into his eyes. "You have to go back, May-"
"No love I want to be here with you"
"I'll promise love I'll always be with you"
I nodded, even though my heart hurt at the thought of leaving him again. "Promise you'll always be with me?" I asked, my voice a whisper.
"I promise," he said, kissing my forehead gently.
"Now I'll leave Maya, I'm always in your heart remember that, in another life you and me will live again, I'll find you no matter what. And even when I'm a star in the sky, my love for you will never die. Wait for me, and whenever you look up, know that I'm watching over you. I will always be with you, Maya."
With a heavy heart, I watched as he began to fade, together with this garden that full of flower and butterflies, butterflies are now in him covering his whole body. And start disappearing. "I love you, Liam," I whispered, my voice filled with longing.
"I love you too, Maya," and even when my sight is blurry because of the tears I see that he raise his hand to said goodbye, so I raise my hand too and his voice echoed as everything went black.
