He squeezed her hand gently, feeling a wave of gratitude and love wash over him. "I'm so lucky to have you."
"Likewise," Maya murmured, leaning in to kiss Liam softly on the cheek. "Let's not think about anything else right now. Just being here with you is all I need."
Liam nodded, holding Maya close, cherishing the warmth of their embrace and the peace of the moment. He knew there were challenges ahead, but for now, in Maya's arms, he found solace and hope for their future together.
