When I woke up, I was back in the hospital. The reality reality hit me. My body ached, and my heart broke into pieces. Tears began to flow again, harder than before.

So, all of this is just a dream?” I cried, my voice breaking with sadness, hope and confusion.

I recall to the memory of Liam, feeling the unbearable weight of loss down on me again. The room around me seemed cold and distant.

As my tears continued to flow, I hold the blanket, feeling the empty space where Liam’s warmth had been. “It felt so real,” I whispered. “It felt like he was really there, holding me, talking to me.”

Suddenly, I heard the nurse’s voice calling out, “She’s awake! Maya’s awake!” Within moments, the room was filled with many footsteps, the sound of doctors and nurses rushing toward me.

Maya, are you okay now?” Dr. William asked, his voice full of concern as he leaned over me.

But I didn’t say a word. I just stared at him, my mind is now in confusion and grief.

Check her vitals,” Dr. William instructed the nurse. The nurse quickly went about her work, checking my pulse and blood pressure.

I sat up suddenly, my voice rising in desperation. “Is it true that Liam is dead? Is it true?” I shouted, my voice echoing in my room.

The room fell silent, everyone’s faces a miss emotion nd concern. Dr. William approached me slowly, his expression gentle but firm.

Maya,” he said softly, “Liam passed away. I’m so sorry.”

I shook my head, not wanting to believe it. “No, it can’t be true. I saw him. I talked to him. He was there with me, just now!

Tears flow down my face as the reality of his words sank in. The nurses looked at me with compassion, but their silence confirmed what I dreaded.

I collapsed back onto my bed, overwhelmed by the crushing weight of my grief. My dream, as real as it had felt, was just a dream. And now I had to face the truth and the pain of living without Liam.

The nurse gently placed a hand on my shoulder. “We’re here for you, Maya,” she said softly. “Take your time.”

Thank you sweeties
