I Heard a Rumour

AN: Okay I really wanna write some scenes in Milena’s perspective because she's so cute but like writing two characters is so difficult

Five had ‘recovered’ which Lillith didn't not believe at all as even she had barely recovered from her bullet wound from a few days ago, but if he didn't want to talk about it she didn't want to intrude.

The blonde girl had refused to leave his side, moving his chair specifically closer as if he would leave if she moved even across the table away from him.

Klaus had come down with a ridiculous bell extremely cheerily as he explained the whole situation that happened with Luther. Lillith knew Luther definitely didn't want it to be talked about at all so she refused to mention it, her thoughts being taken up by Allison and Diego– neither of which had messaged her and she just assumed they'd fallen asleep at a motel or something nearby.

Although saying that, she had sent many many messages to both of them, none of them they responded to.

“Here we go. This'll fix ya,” Klaus said leaning over the table and pouring coffee for Luther which Five very quickly took off of him, drinking it himself.

“Jesus. Who do I gotta kill to get a decent cup of coffee?” Five complained and Mila took that as an invitation to take the coffee out of his hands and start drinking it herself.

Five looked over at the girl, raising one eyebrow but she just shrugged and took another sip. Lillith, smiled at the two of them quickly looking away when Mila looked over at her.

“Anyone seen any of the others? Diego? Allison? No?” Klaus asked the group, very specifically Lillith.

She just shook her head, placing it down on the table, she did not need to be reminded about how anxious it was making her feel.

“All right then, this is the closest thing to a quorum. . .” he started banging the table with the stupid bell he was holding, causing Luther to groan and hold onto his ears. “That we’re gonna get. Now listen up. There’s no easy way to say this, so I’m just gonna spit it out. Yeah.”

He sighed the last part, which Lillith presumed was in response to Ben. It  was really bad she was jealous of Klaus for being able to see him. Lillith never wanted to use the academy's powers for her own personal use so she never asked Klaus if he could relay messages in a conversation but she would kill to be able to talk to him again. Even just to hug him once more.

“Klaus,” Luther sighed.

“I conjured Dad last night,” he said, pointing a spatula at them.

After the four of them all looked at each other in silence for a little while they turned back to Klaus, Luther talking first, “You said you haven't been able to conjure anyone in years.”

“Ah yes, I know, but I’m sober. Ta-da!” He did jazz hands as he said the last part. “I got clean yesterday. To talk to someone special, and then ended up having this. . . conversation with dead old Daddy himself.”

Lillith smiled at the man, “I’m really proud of you.” Causing Klaus to smile at her.

“Has anyone got some aspirin?” Luther asked, beginning to stand up, ignoring what Klaus had just  told them.

“Top shelf, next to the crackers,” Five told him.

Klaus looked offended, “Hey, hey, hey. This is serious guys, all right? This really happened, I swear.”

“I believe you, Klaus,” Mila said, leaning forwards on the table placing her chin on her hands. “What did the demon– I mean your Dad– have to say?”
