The Frankel Footage
“Elliot, did you develop these photos yourself?” Five asked, looking through some sort of magnifying glass at some black and white photos.
Clementine actually seemed to take it quite well, the whole time travel world ending thing, but Eliz– Lillith– assumed she just didn't have anything to do.
The two women work together– as men.
Which, yes, is a very odd statement to make however they in no way would have been accepted into this job without being a man. It was already a lot to convince them to allow a darker skinned ‘man’ into it.
Anyway, they weren't doing much anyway. Clem and Lillith had no family and no one else except for each other so it wasn't a difficult choice for them to drop everything to save the world.
“Of course. Can’t exactly drop that stuff off at the neighbourhood Fotomat,” Elliot started, a kind but also definitely had some sketchy vibes. “Government has eyes everywhere.”
“Oh my God, are you a conspiracy theorist?” Mila asked Elliot, quickly turning to the purple haired woman, “Is he a conspiracy theorist? I've always wanted to meet one of those!”
Five smiled at Mila before looking back at Elliot, “I didn't see a darkroom.”
“Yeah, I converted the hallway closet,” he said as if it was simple.
Lillith had converted a bedroom into a science lab and she thought that was kind of normal but a closet into a darkroom seemed almost ridiculous.
Five scribbled out the date on the box in his hands, “Can you develop this?”
Elliot quickly took it off of him, “Huh. ‘Frankel Footage.’ Friend of yours?”
“My cousin's dog's ex-owner's dead husband's sister,” Clem said, causing Elliot and Five to look at her in confusion. Mila already loved her. “So can you do it?”
“Sure I can.”
“How long?” Five quickly asked.
He thought about it for a second, “Well, I mean, I’m running low on acetic acid. Beeker’s Cameras is open today, but it’s two miles away. I mean, I’d have to take the bus. On the other hand, Gibson’s is only ten blocks away, but I gotta cut through the park, and there’s pigeons–”
Clementine and Lillith looked at each other, yawning at the rambling.
“Elliot!” Mila and Five interrupted him simultaneously.
But he kept continuing, “It’s like five, maybe six hours.”
Then a radio buzzed, “Attention all units, we have a code 3–15 at the Holbrook Sanitarium.”
“The hell is a code 3-15?” Five asked.
Lillith raised her hand, “Ooh I know this one! It’s fugitives on the run.”
“Twenty-five patients still at large,” the voice continued. “Many are considered armed and dangerous.”
“Just my forte,” Clementine noted.
“Oh, Diego,” Five sighed, causing Lillith to quickly look at him with a raised eyebrow.
“Excuse you,” she said, looking at him with a glare.
His eyes widened, he had faced assassins yet his sister could be petrifying but thankfully Elliot spoke first, “Who’s Diego?”
“Oh my God, Diego Diego. Like the Diego?” Clementine asked excitedly.
