Meet the Family

AN: I think I've already put this warning but I’m changing Sloane’s powers because they're accidentally too close to Lillith’s– I completely forgot what her powers were. Either way she will still be powerful and extremely useful. Also I probably won't have Lila in it again, very sorry for any Lila fans.

I’m also gonna try and do more perspective’s so make some chapters longer– because they're totally not long enough already. But the first chapter is usually like three times longer than the rest of them so have fun.

On the 12th hour of the first day of October 1989, seventeen women around the world gave birth. This was unusual only in the fact that none of these women had been pregnant when the day first began.

Sir Reginald Hargreeves, eccentric billionaire and adventurer, resolved to locate and adopt as many of the children as possible.

“Extraordinary,” he said, staring down at the woman holding her child, through his monocle.

The woman’s family held onto the young woman protectively as Hargreeves reached out to touch the baby as the thunder clapped.

“How much do you want for it? Surely you don't want to keep it.”

When the young woman looked in confusion at her family, he spoke in Korean asking her the same question again.

“You lay one finger on my grandson, I slice you in half,” an elderly woman stepped forwards, with a butcher knife.

“Excellent! I like a spirited negotiator.”

He got eight of them.

[‘Sometimes’ by Gerry Cinnamon]

The man walked down a path, followed by women in red dresses pushing pushchairs after him. Eight women. Eight pushchairs.

Eight children who weren't prepared for what was going to happen in their future, or for one of them– lack of.

On the front of the pushchairs, however, was a small bird or more specifically. . . a sparrow.

The front of buildings were decorated with ‘SPARROW ACADEMY’ banners, Reginald’s pride and joy. The saviours of the world and local neighbourhoods.

Of course, the Sparrows kept their reputation and wore it like a badge of honour. The eight–  sorry seven of them, have spent their lives ever since they had fully figured out how to control their powers saving those in need.

A dark skinned muscular man was holding onto bars at the top of the building, doing push ups before backflipping off, using a towel to wipe off the sweat.

He threw his towel off of the building to a large crowd of people holding signs who cheered even louder after he had thrown it.

“Love you, Marcus!” One of the women cheered as primarily women reached up to try and catch the towel, it finally falling into one of the woman’s hands who almost fainted.

The side of the cliff wall had barely anything to grasp onto, her only being able to hear her deep exhales and the comforting sound of ravens’ wings around them.

FEI A.K.A #4

The woman looked at the wall in front of her through the raven above her which landed on her arm and cawed before they helped her continue climbing, providing her closer vision to the side of the cliff she was on.
