World's Biggest Ball of Twine

It was a good morning. A good morning for a run.

Lillith and Luther stepped outside of the hotel in their workout gear, or at least what they could find, as they began jogging down the pavements and around parks.

“Morning!” Luther kept greeting people which made Lillith smile.

Everyone was happy. They were finally all going to be okay.

The jog was very freeing, the fresh air with no panic of an oncoming apocalypse or a desperate need for normality– to try and find her family again.

For the first time in five years, she could breathe.

She could run with Luther having no care in the world.

Just as they were running down a path through some trees, however, Lillith noticed ravens. Too many ravens to count. And something which always panicked her was the fact a group of ravens were called a ‘Murder’.

Probably not a good sign, but she tried to ignore it. Maybe they all just gathered for a nice picnic, not to murder Lillith and Luther. She really hoped they wanted a picnic.

But then they all stopped around them, landing on lampposts and park benches, Lillith slowing down causing Luther to turn around to see if she was alright before seeing what she was pointing at.

Then the ravens all began flying after them, cawing, most of them following Luther who ran into a lamppost, knocking Lillith down with him.

That was when she finally saw Christopher, the cube following them along with Ben, Sloane and Fei.

“Shit,” Lillith groaned in pain, Fei grasping onto her hand to help her up.

“Hello there, stranger,” Sloane greeted the man who was being held upside down by Christopher.

“Oh, hey!” Luther said, smiling and waving at Sloane causing the other three to look at them suspiciously.

“Bets on something happening?” Lillith whispered to Fei, her just feeling a natural comfort around this family.

The short haired woman smiled at her, “Almost definite.”

That was when Ben walked forwards, kicking Luther directly in the face until he was unconscious.

Lea sighed, as she woke up looking around her to see everyone already up and awake, so she got dressed into some other clothes she found, a purple blouse and black jeans before walking downstairs to see Klaus and Diego sitting there.

“Oh, is Lillith not with you, she wasn't in the room,” Lea told the two men, sitting next to them with her plate of breakfast.

She was still absolutely starving, despite eating a large amount of food yesterday.

“She told me she was going on a run with Luther, I’m sure she’s alright. They can stand up for themselves,” Diego shrugged, taking another bite of his food.

“Loving the hair, by the way,” Lea laughed, pointing at Diego. “I preferred it longer but you do you.”

But then Five walked over, dressing exactly like an old man. At least Lea tries to dress more modern, similar to how Lillith usually dresses.

He had a gilet on, and a hat she had definitely seen an old man wearing who they had walked past on their walk to reach the Hotel.

Then Vanya walked down with short hair, which Lea thought really suited her, it looked really nice, “Where’s Luther and Lillith?”
