AN: I couldn't let go of them yet and wanted to give them a little bit of hope to be remembered- and some flashbacks
Freya always thought something was missing.
But she always had everyone with her.
If she needed a shoulder to cry on, Amanda, Claire or Brody was there, if she ever just wanted a hug, she had her two sisters for that.
She had everything she needed but why did she feel like she didn't.
No one spoke about her parents, ever, it was almost like they were a taboo subject and no one spoke about Claire’s either.
All Freya knew was that there was some familial connection between Claire and Freya although they didn't even look like they shared any blood connection at all.
But that didn't bother her when she knew they were related somehow, and that’s all that mattered, blood or not made no difference to her.
It was just unusual when no one knew anything about any of their parents.
She didn't even remember being raised with anyone except for Brody’s parents, although that didn't make sense because she wasn't raised alongside Brody.
She hadn't even met him until a few years before.
One day, after a difficult day at school she wanted to put the energy into something a little less destructive than screaming or crying and instead she cleaned her room.
Thoroughly.
Whenever she felt like there was something missing she spiralled.
And whenever that happened, she would barely be able to move, unless her sisters came into the room and asked her to play and she began playing with them.
Something always struck familiarity in her whenever she would play tag at the local park with Gracie and Emmy but she would always look to the right and expect to see someone to tag but no one was ever there.
~~~~~
They were too young for board games and they were extremely active children who needed to run around everywhere and physically couldn't stop moving.
Diego was the amazing father who could run around with his daughters’. Be able to play tag for more than one minute.
~~~~~
What was happening to her?
It seemed like a strange sense of deja-vu continued occurring as she spent her days moving around the world.
Whenever someone would question her about her relationship she felt like it had happened before with someone she was unfamiliar with.
~~~~~
“So do you two have a class together?” Diego asked, definitely not thinking as kindly about it as his wife was.
“We have math together and history,” Brody said struggling to hold eye contact.
“You're scaring him Dad,” Freya mumbled. “He’s just a friend.”
Yeah and the sky is green.
She may think they were friends but Lillith noticed the way Brody’s smile dropped if only for a few seconds before returning back to normal.
They seemed really sweet together.
~~~~~
She forgot to buy candles for Brody’s birthday but thankfully Amanda remembered them and something then reminded her of a memory she couldn't quite grasp.
