Kindest Cut
AN: Okay this is such a long season, significantly longer than the rest but then in comparison some chapters are a lot shorter than the rest so I’m just adding random memories between characters to make them longer.
Mila and Five were forced to train together as they were the only two people (or so they thought) at the commission with powers, however they were practising with weapons.
Now were they given the very specific rule not to physically harm each other? Absolutely. But Mila knew she was not going to stick with that.
He’d been at the Commission for three years and to say he was an old man who was two steps away from a zimmer frame he was good at fighting.
But Mila used her age as a reason she also was a little bit slow with her reflexes.
So instead of using her powers she chose to pick up a dagger that was available to both of them, but Five chose to try and blink around her to eventually plan on kicking her down and restraining her that way.
And Five won the very first time, Mila not even being able to get a singular tiny cut in.
But she had seen him now and his fighting tactics, so she was planning her actions before Five had even done them.
So when Five said they were starting, and quickly blinked just behind her, she turned and slashed the dagger the second he had landed on his feet, causing him to topple back.
It wasn't a very deep gash but it definitely was a deep gash.
“Lena!” He shouted, holding onto his chest.
“Oh, boohoo stand up,” she told him, reaching her hand down. “Come on, it’s not like I meant to stab you.”
She definitely meant to stab him.
“Didn't mean to, there’s a cut in my stomach you sick psycho,” he seethed, not taking her hand and standing up by himself.
“It was an accident,” she tried to claim, grabbing a towel from off the side and placing it on the cut. “Oh it’s not even that bad.”
“Lena, my blood is soaking the towel, can you take me to get it stitched?”
“If you admit that I win,” she smiled.
He raised his eyebrows, his jaw dropping, “No. Of course you didn't win.” But then when Mila stopped walking and was about to let go of the towel he quickly corrected himself, “Okay. You won. Now please I’m going to bleed out.”
“Either you get stitches or I can burn it closed?” Mila suggested.
His eyes widened, “I’m more than alright to get stitches you weirdo.”
“You love me though, old man.”
“I really don't.”

“Lilly!” She heard Jayme call from outside her door, Lilly having locked it so she was able to paint alone without being interrupted by her siblings, exactly like what was happening now.
She enjoyed her quiet time if quiet time classed as blasting music very loudly down one of her earphones.
She enjoyed listening to music with two earphones on but she knew her siblings were extremely high maintenance and would probably need her at some point in the two hours she had planned to listen to music and paint.
